"We love because he first loved us" 1 John 4 vs 19.

Heavenly Father i thank you for the opportunity to experience your amazing love through your beautiful daughter, my lovely wife, Ekpemi Antonia Anni-Alatishe. I am most blessed of all men to have beheld and loved you my sweet Ekpemi.

My Ekpemi, you were a giver and a lover of God's creations. You served those around you with all the amazing gifts God blessed you with. I love the joy and peace you experienced during bible studies, fellowships and prayers in the presence of God.

I thank you my sweet wife for allowing me serve you with all my might and all i have to make our life together joyous and blessed.

I love you my Ekpemi but our Father in heaven loves you more. Rest well in the arms of our loving Father.
From Adeyemi Alatishe

I am so blessed to have known Ekpemi. I always came away from spending time with her moved by the joy she radiated and her unwavering trust in Jesus. She was honest about the hard things and so full of courage. She spoke with so much wisdom and kindness, you could tell Ekpemi knew her Lord well because she was so like Him, and oh what an encouragement it was to spend time with her!

I have scribbled in a notebook I must have written after spending time with Ekpemi once, it just says, "Do not be afraid"-Ekpemi. Her example of trusting God no matter what has had a profound impact on me and I am sure many others, and I thank God for making her precious life.

Ekpemi was the Proverbs 31 woman - so full of strength and dignity and laughing without fear of the future.

Continue resting in the bosom of the Lord, Ekpemi. You will be greatly missed.

You will be greatly missed darling Ekpemi. Sleep well in the arms of your creator.

I pray the Holy Spirit comforts the Anni and Alatishe families.

Ekpemi, you are a wonderful daughter of the King. I only got to know you over the last 18 months through Bible study but it has been a pleasure. I always hung on your every word when you spoke about the scriptures. You are such a spiritual woman with such insight and love for God and others. I’ll miss getting to know you more this side of heaven
From Tim Eke

Ekpemi was my classmate in Junior secondary school and I was drawn to her because she was such a good artist , she would do drawings for fellow students that were writing story books, she will do designs for people and they were so good . I still tell my kids about my school mate that knew how to draw so well 🙂. We happened to go to the same university and although we were not in the same dept.. Ekpemi still had that peace and calm about her that I loved . After university, I still saw and read so many of her great works and she always remained that talented Artist I had as my classmate.

It was really hard for me to hear of her passing and I pray God comforts all her loved ones .
❤❤❤❤

I don’t think anyone could meet Antonia Anni and not remember her warmth, banter, smile and her amazing style. I always remember you standing out amongst the crowd with such confidence and taking the lead with everything you did. I’m thankful to God that our paths crossed, that you brought your warmth to the TEDxEuston volunteer team and championed our Continent.

We thank God for your strength of character and your commitment to serving others. May the Lord wrap His arms around your loved ones and bring them comfort. You are missed.

Rest in perfect heavenly peace Antonia Anni.

From Amina and the entire TEDxEuston team.

That Ekpemi’s life was chosen to be short is a very bitter pill to swallow but that it touched me and mine is everything to be thankful for.

I am so so grateful to have crossed paths with such a kind, forthright, thoughtful, weird and wonderful person.

Only God can give the strength for such a loss and I pray that the privilege of being able to experience joyful times with his daughter earthside will overcome the deep pain of her passing.

As she once told me, Tough times don’t last, loved people do. Thank you for your love, your wonder and your beautiful friendship Ekpemi

Till we meet again, blaze heaven’s streets
From E Penushliev

What a privilege and joy to have known Ekpemi! Her beautiful smile was wonderful to behold and reflected her joy at knowing the Lord Jesus, our wonderful Saviour. She never seemed to be able to get enough of Him or His Word and now He has taken her home to be with Him. How happy she must be, how big her smile, and how much we look forward to seeing her again, when we too go to be with Him in glory!

With much love and prayers for Yemi and Ekpemi's family and huge thanks to our great God for our dear sister, Ekpemi, and her life serving Him,

Andy & Jo

I finally have the courage to write.

This is hard and sad news for us on this side of eternity.

We became friends when we both needed friendship and you truly have a special place in my heart. I have re lived the memories in my heart and with friends, my sisters and all. You are one special person. You were young and you went through life like a person on a mission not being overwhelmed but just saying yes to the next thing before you. I am glad i got to go on some of the adventures your mind would conjure up. I am not in the least bit worried about you because i know you have rested from the troubles of this life. I wish we had more time with you my friend on this side of eternity. Rest well my friend till we meet again
From Talatu

It's so sad to hear this, she was one of the few female chess player I knew back in school. She was very easy going and very reserved. May the good Lord grant her eternal rest.

Take heart Yemi. God be with you and the kids.

If I have to guess I'd say she was SS. But I'm not sure. I wish her family and friends the strength to bear the loss.
