The actual process is supposed to be:

a²–b² = (a-b) (a+b) [the difference of two squares]

then, (17-4) · (17 +4)

= (13) · (21) or 13 x 21

= 273


How did you get your answer? It's wrong.

= (13) · (21) or 13 x 21
