I received this message today from Access Bank plc
It seems the Central Bank did not communicate any extension of the old naira notes or the supreme Court judgment to banks.

Supreme Court did not give CBN order,they gave federal government,meanwhile CBN is an independent body

Supreme Court gave order to FG and CBN.

But unfortunately, banks take instructions from the CBN and not Supreme Court. So, until the banks get any contrary directive from the CBN, the deadline remains February 10th and there’s nothing Tinubu BATstards can do about it.

If you're not from Kaduna, and you listen to Elrufai, then you're on your own.
The silence from CBN should tell you something. CBN will not say or do anything, and it's directive will be obeyed. The only people that will gain from the Supreme Court ruling are the legal teams of Kogi, Kaduna and Zamfara, who have cashed out.

I do not think anyone is worried about the deadline any longer.

For instance most banks on Abeokuta are still shut after the disturbances on Tuesday.
Where do you want the residents to take the old notes to?
