It's obvious people that have interest in the old note are so powerful that they mounted pressure hence sabotaging the policy through extension.
Parachoko:

Yes, very true Nigeria is not ready for the switch
BennyDGreat:
You are looking at one angle of the entire piece.
The money printed isn't up to what was in circulation.

Cashless transactions are failing back to back in many places.

A lot of Nigerians are still unbanked....

These are issues that ought to be addressed...
You don't force things to work without smoothening the ground to make it work out

Do you even live in Nigeria during the cashless policy crises? Because if you are living in Nigeria back then, you will know the policy was called "A Naira Redesign Policy". Emefiele said the Naira was going to be redesign, he never said is a cashless policy, it was later he change it to a cashless policy

With the way Emefiele was rushing the Policy, there was no way the Policy will succeed.

And the Supreme Court gave a perfect judgement concerning this issue

Please go and search for the judgement and read what the Supreme Court said.

Is so foolish and daft for anybody to say some people sabotage a policy that was bound to fail. Even the World Bank and IMF advise the CBN against the plan

Is so foolish for anyone to witness everything that happened in Nigeria between November and April and blame the failure of the policy on some individuals.

Were you in Cameroon or Ghana when commercial banks officials were exchanging about 12m old notes for 10m new notes for the big guys as against part of the redesign policy? CBN governor said part of the policy is to reduce the volume of cash in circulation. It's either you don't listen to interviews or press release or you are part of those that sabotaged the policy.

List out the names of this Commercial Banks and the names of the Bank Officials involve in exchanging old #12m notes for new #10m notes. Do not forget to back your answer up with 1,2 or 3 Legit source.

And briefly explain why Emefiele who had the full support of Buhari and Pandora Orchins could not Fine the Commercial Banks, Arrest and Prosecute the Bank officials and the Big Men.
