The Authority is arguably the most interesting project amongst all.
I didn't even know Midnighter and Apollo are members of The Authority.

It has all the hallmarks of greatly expanding the DC Universe and different approach towards superheroes.

It's a direct competitor to The Boys if not even more violent.

Why not make it live action?

All of these news are exciting IMO. Gunn and Safran reinstated my hope that we'll actually see decent movies from the superhero genre in the years to come. #DCFixedWhatMarvelRuined

I only wish they'd release The Batman Part 2 sooner than 2,5 years from now...

Ben Affleck is most likely joining the DCU as a director. It's now to find a suitable project.

It's statements like these that gives me more hope for a more cohesive and better universe.

Glad things won't be rushed to meet release dates. I'm only a bit bummed with just two DCU movies yearly. I woulda preferred 3 films per year. I guess the Elseworlds movies will make up for that except the problem being they're not DCU connected.

I don't know bro .... It's in the initial stage so you never can tell. Maybe he's trying to introduce them to more people with a theatrical release and make a solid base for them before branching out. I think some of the characters in The Authority universe will someway somehow play a major overarching role in the DCU. They'd probably be like Harley Quinn and Amanda Waller that will appear in major storylines.

I just hope James Gunn keeps Sasha Calle as Supergirl. She looks like a Goddess and seems to be able to emote facially. She has this sombre look that seemingly fits well with what the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow storyline might tell.

I remember when people were making fun of her suit few years ago.... Now everyone's singing her praises in just a first look trailer.

I loved her dark hair and having issue imagining her blonde. She looks perfect!! 😍😍
