Atiku was vice president of Nigeria for 8 years but lives in Dubai. Obi was governor of Anambra for 8 years but lives in Lagos. Tinubu ruled Lagos for 8 years and still lives there.

For your information, Lagos existed before tinubu became governor in 1999 to 2007,he was only governor for 8yrs,so he did not create Lagos, take note his father and mother never came from Lagos state,they are from Iragbiji in osun state, and he tinubu was never born or schooled in Lagos state, he only smartly adopted the name of the tinubu family of Lagos.he became a lagos state indigine by residence. Lagos was the former capital of Nigeria up till when babangida moved the capital to Abuja in the 90s.yes he lives in Lagos because Lagos has the best of opportunities by virtue of the geographical position and a former capital of Nigeria with major assets built under the military government.

Yes he might have increased the IGR from 600 million to 7 billion between 1999 to 2007,even before he became governor lagos has always been the fastest going state as former capital of Nigeria with the best of infrastructures created under the military and jakande government. He only leverage on those infrastructures, if those opportunities were not there where would he have gotten the IGR from? previous government of fashola, ambode and now Sanwo-Olu also added to the increase in IGR, so tinubu alone should never be given the glory for lagos state IGR increase, and in addition, Lagos state has always collected 10 billion naira monthly from federal government as their own federal allocation
