See, the issue at hand is not about the refusal of people to deposit their old notes. It is the scarcity of new notes which delayed its quick circulation. Because of this, majority of banks still offer old notes for withdrawal up until two days ago. When banks offer old notes as replacement for old notes and people still have to queue for long hours before even getting it, the people will be forced to perpetually transact with old notes.

People complied totally with the directive. It is the CBN that decided to fail in its part. Because I don't even understand, should economic transactions be paused till CBN can print enough new notes?

The fault is 100% on CBN and by extension the FG.

I never thought I would read Uncle Roland supporting jungle justice the same person who berated me for asking for judicial trial; like I said, they project their character on you just to sound sanctimonious. What if the burnt person is actually innocent or mentally unstable and needed help to restore his senses? This is what judicial trial ensures not mob action as we noticed in the Aluu4 where 4 innocent young lives were wasted on the basis of mere accusations.
