Please house!
I was placed on Clomid from second day of my menstruation, but I started it on day 1 (this was done with the intent of my short cycle which makes my ovulation period appear faster than many others).
But going through comments here, it seems everyone starts on day 2 regardless of your cycle.
Can this affect the effectiveness of the drug expectancy
Thanks

No it doesn't affect the effectiveness.
But in my opinion, clomid is not suppose to be given except the benefit outweigh its disadvantage.

But in what you said, you know that you are ovulating, so why were you placed on clomid again.

Good Morning Mamas. I had a miscarriage last week. Attached is a TVS scan report I did. Experienced mamas that have gone through this, can I try to conceive again with the fibroids or what do you advise. Thank you.

Was this report after the miscarriage? Because this is showing that there is pregnancy.

And to answer your question, yes, you can be pregnant with multiple fibroids, though it will cause early contraction that might want to cause miscarriage but it can be managed very well and you will carry to full term.

My advice to you is to place yourself on green vegetables and green salads at least 3 times a week. Stop sugary things and flour products, stop folic acid too.

This will help reduce the growth of the fibroid.

Actually I’m not sure ovulation occur, but I do track my cycle and know when I’m likely to ovulate.
But the slimy discharge is not there to ascertain that ovulation actually takes place.
I guess that’s why the doctor placed me on clomid
Please what are the disadvantages of clomid anyways?
God bless you as I await further enlightenment

Hello house
Pls who has used evergreen eggboost supplement….
Is it effective?
Someone recommended it for us to improve egg quality after 2 blighted ovum miscarriages
Thanks in anticipation

Go for coastscience and DHEA if you can afford it. It worked like magic for me after several failed IVFs due to egg quality. But with these supplements for just two months, pregnancy happened naturally. Congratulations in advance

I tried to reply but it seems I said something that the mod doesn't like.

You can ovulate without slimy discharge. Clomid can as well dry you up, it can also cause ovarian hyper stimulation and waste eggs.

I actually have been ttc and have undergone hsg and semen analysis and both came out fine.
My doctor now prescribed clomid for us.
Pls any experience with recommendation would be appreciated.
Any further test to be carried out?
Medication
N.B: I experience lots of semen leak out but my doctor says it’s never an issue. Is this right too?
Thank You 🙏

Thank you so much for your response. The scan was before the miscarriage. After the miscarriage happened I was given a follow up appointment in a week's time. At that follow up appointment, another TVS scan was done and the doctor said the location of the fibroid is in my womb and occupying space where a baby would have been and that's what caused the miscarriage as there is no space for the baby to thrive. That if I get pregnant again it's most likely another miscarriage could happen and that the size of the fibroid is big and it's open surgery that could take it out else another method called hyparoscopy or so (don't know if I am correct) would have been used without being cut open. The size of the fibroid is 5cm. I am just very scared of surgery. Will I get pregnant after the surgery? Can I deliver a vaginal birth or it would be CS since I have already been cut open? I am sorry for my plenty questions. Thank you.

Doctors will always say semen leakage is not an issue. I treated it and I got pregnant (my first child). I started experiencing it again now that I'm trying for another baby.

I prefer hysteroscopy, its not surgery per say and you can get pregnant after it. But that fibroid is small and you should be able to carry to term with it if you can follow strict diet.
Eat cabbage on empty stomach daily
Do plank exercise, start from small and increase it gradually. Avoid sugar and all that contains it, flour and all that's made with flour. Eat vegetables and local food.

If its convenient, you can get fibro pill and use. I think following this is cheaper than operation considering that operation can also cause scarring.

Semen leak is not 100% a problem but a symptoms of underlying cause such as yeast infection, frigidity or hormonal imbalance. Are you always ready for the do when you do?

If yes I think you should work on boosting egg quality and balance hormones. Myo Inositol is very good for boosting egg quality (currently pre ordering @ #12k / 250g) maca, dong quai, vitex, black cohosh etc help with hormonal balance. ( already prepared mix called Enhancer is only #10k) you don't need more than those and you will be okay.

Since clomid has many negatives.. well informed docs dont usually prescribe it. follicular tracking / TVS should have been carried out for 2 cycles to determine if you ovulate or not. the doc could even include trigger shots and timed intercourse as well
