Jobs That's Will Be Affected By Nigeria Cashless Policy by masseratti(op): 12:31pm On Feb 15, 2023
No:1 Bankers, alot of Nigerian bakers workers will be laid off, tellers marketers will be let go, this is because by the new policy, most things are now automated, less customers in the bank, more money in the bank, no need for the banks to employ marketers to open new accounts or market their products.

No 2:Police, the habit of collecting money from motorist or people seeking bail will take a nose dive.

No 3:transport union agents (agberos) unless they find a new mode of collecting money from the drivers, their daily collection will be grossly affected.

No 3:PoS agents: in my area before the deadline in a street we had nothing less than 7 Pos operators, now it's down to just one, she hardly have cash but still comes everyday to render other services.

No 4: billion bank vehicle operators :you might not know but there are some companies in Nigeria that operates bullion vehicles on behalf of the banks to transport cash around the country.. Thee business will be almost non existence.

No 5 Perishable food sellers: most of this are losing most of the goods due to low patronage currently.

You fully don't understand the cashless policy. It doesn't really mean their will be no paper money, NO, that's not what it means. It means there will be paper money circulating, but not like before. It has already started. This is the best time for POS to make money sef. Just have a business that brings in cash like provision store, use your POS to deposit it into your own account....more money for them. Sho tigbo?

are you in Nigeria at all? Most Pos operators have shut down, even mallams selling provisions have closed shops, no cash to operate, not that there won't be paper money in circulation but the volume has turned down drastically.
