I read and hear a lot of people blaming Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria for the Naira redesign policy of the federal government, current cash crunch and the attendant hardship on Nigerians.
Please when did Emefiele become the one making the final decisions. When did we arrive at a situation when the bull stops at the CBN governor's table? Who gives instructions - Buhari to Emefiele or Emefiele to Buhari?
Why are the APC members especially afraid to blame President Buhari?
Are the people blaming governor Emefiele instead of president Buhari ignorant, afraid of calling a spade by its name so as not to offend northerners? Are they playing ethnic politics due to the forthcoming presidential election or are they simply being mischievous?

Autonomy or no autonomy, the president must approve of any change in currency or it's redesign before it can be effected. If the president says NO, the suggestion by any appointee ends at mere suggestion.

I am not complaining about the naira redesign and cash crunch like you people. Though I am also affected by this policy, I see something positive about it. So I am not eager to blame either Buhari or Emefiele.

Maybe you are a newcomer on social media, Adeosun was ridiculed and called a polytechnic graduate for the floundering policies of the Buhari government, while, Fashola was called Minister of darkness, the same people attacking the duo then, are now trying to exonorate Emefelele from his glaring failures.
