No protest in the north because he is their son, they want to cause voter apathy in the south due to violence as a result of the protest.... |

OasisX:So where will the Northern Governors deposit their old notes? Elrufai is just compounding the violence that will erupt when people discover that their 2 million cash is useless |

Segedinho:....that dunce of a Governor una carry power give on a platter of gold is another Buhari. When NGF released a Communique against the Policy, he countered it that he is not part of the Decision. Same Dimwìt join FG to strike out court case against the Policy at Supreme Court today. I guess he is happy now that his State is burning and people are dying now? I won't be surprised if he blames it on Oshiomole. |

I know we have all seen this picture a million times. But ask yourself this, do you know how much money has to be in a bullion van that one was not enough to carry all that cash.. Like think of this deeply, we are talking truckloads of raw cash!! One bullion van couldn't handle enough cash to induce votes of the poor to vote buhari but 2 full bullion van. That really informs my decision on this. There is a reason the BATstards here and crying and you better not believe that it's the suffering of the masses. Worse have happened and these people didn't bat an eyelid.

Tataffo:No protest yet because the Govs are trying to make sure that their people can still spend the old note, once this gbege touch them, everything go scatter finish. Theres a video of El Rufai telling his people to go against the FG order and continue to transact with the old notes. |

OasisX:No bank in the North can accept deposits in old notes. You can confirm it if you want. So when you end up encouraging people to transact in old notes, and they need to buy goods in the South; go to the bank, only to find out that it is useless, what happens? What you are cheering Elrufai for will eventually end up in more chaos than we are seeing now. When you spend am till Feb 22, it would still be useless. I expect the governor of a state to be more intelligent that this. |

Sanwo-Olu cut down BRT fares by 50% to avoid crisis. Gbaja introduces free shuttles to support him. One turtle-head Governor is playing to the gallery and now his State is on fire. This policy is affecting the masses more. Every Governor should speak with one voice against it. This is no time to playing stupid politics. |

Omor, this is sad. Anything that isn't anger shown via the ballot on the 25th and 4th is sadly anger misplaced. Segedinho: |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 2:56pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
izzou:Let's wait and see bro, at least Northerners Northerners ain't protesting yet. Let them keep spending it, Buhari tenure is coming to an end soon, same as Emefiele. That Policy will be reversed. Keep your old notes well. |

The protesters went to CBN office to protest where someone was shot while the hired APC protesters were burning banks but nothing happened to them throughout their mission.. |

Segedinho:Na why all the governors are doing their best to calm down their population, Na why EL Rufai dey tell him state to continue collecting old notes The day you outlaw old notes in the North without new notes. Hausas wey be say they are mostly cash based and no transfers In the North was where I saw that people dont reject even torn notes, In the SOuth where if you money don rough people wont take it, In the North nothing like that |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:00pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
OasisX:I don't understand what you mean by Northerners are not protesting yet. There is no protest in Lagos, but the governor did not ask people to rebel against the policy. Nobody obeys laws anymore here because we support disobedience and disorder when it favours us. Buhari will leave in May. Tinubu will resume office in May So we should wait till May, and suffer like this because Buhari will eventually leave? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 3:00pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
raumdeuter:..... you're very correct. Most Fulanis don't get bank accounts. They prefer keeping raw cash same as many Hausas. Nigeria will be in flames if nothern Governors agree with the policy. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:00pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
izzou:We are hoping after elections they will relax the rule. Or will they continue for Governorship elections. Also Kogi election later this year will they continue to stop voting buying or its just presidential election they want to target |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 3:02pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
izzou:..... as far as old notes remain legal tender in the North, they won't protest. That's my point. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:03pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
raumdeuter:I am talking about a sitting governor asking his people to keep using it, and people think it is okay. It is wrong and should not be encouraged. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:03pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
izzou: izzou:What options is left for this governor in the scenario? He is at least managing the situation and pushing the evil days further with hopes that something will be done If things dont scatter today, there is a chance Buhari or Emefiele get sense tomorrow and if not tomorrow maybe after by Feb 27 If that is the only thing causing his state to still be calm for now then he will take it Most will take violence coming in 1 week over violence happening today |

izzou:if the goal is to stop vote buying in Presidential election then that has 2 weeks more before they ease it If After Feb 27, Emefiele and Buhari still continue then.. I don't know. I guess a trasitional committe should be put in place with reps from the winner and influence the policies. Everything Buhari is refusing to tell Emefiele, maybe things wil change El Rufai told them, wait for Tinubu to win and he will reverse it |

raumdeuter:But that's BS na, if Tinubu wins he won't be sworn in until May, February-May is a very long time. He's just telling those people what he wants them to hear so they vote his man. |
