Can you see how confused you are? Is the price of food, housing, gas, bills the same for both countries? Seriously, Nigerians have it way too easy, since everything is free. Education; free. Food; cheap. That's why her youth don't know how to give thanks. Had it been we have it rough like most countries, you'll know whatsup
It appears that the cost of living in Nigeria is significantly lower than that in the United States. The Consumer Prices in Nigeria are 58.7% lower than in the United States, without taking into account the cost of rent. This difference drops to 47.5% lower when rent is included. On average, the cost of living in Nigeria is 54% less expensive than in the United States. When broken down by category, the cost of living in Nigeria is generally cheaper than in the United States. For example, a single person's estimated monthly costs in Nigeria are $64.8 without rent, which is on average 59.1% lower than in the United States. Rent in Nigeria is also, on average, 28.1% lower than in the United States.

Basically, everything is fucking cheap in Nigeria relative to other countries, especially the western countries I have been to. The rent I used to pay in the US for a month will literally buy two acres of land in Lagos, and the amount I spend on food when I went to the US is enough to last me for the whole year in Nigeria if I spend extravagantly. This is what I noticed over time. Is it because wages and salary are not that great in Nigeria or there are other reasons to This?
Thanks for sharing

Food for thought...

Hmmm ... how long did you spend in Arizona? How much is your salary?.... what percentage is paid in rent? One earning the same salary in Nigeria ... what percentage of his salary does he pay in rent? If you earn minimum wage only in the US.... can you rent an apartment in the US?.... if you earn minimum wage in Nigeria ... can you rent an apartment?

Depending on you location in the US. I know where you're driving at. At minimum wage level, it'll be hard to pay rent of $1800 in the US, otherwise hunger will send you back to Nigeria. So, it doesn't make sense to compare the way you're about to Start comparing. You people should stop painting these things as if these countries are paradise. There are struggles everywhere
