Not true. Lioness are mean man. Check India stats, alot of them have survived attacks from tigers.. you can oy survive a lion attack by shooting it. Rice farmers jingle bells in group to chase away tigers in their farms. You can not even pull that stunt with lions. They are ferocious animals.

You're right. Pack animals don't tend to do well individually but lone predators like the Leopard and Tiger, it will take nothing short of a miracle to scare or escape them 1v1.
This is why some species of dogs are able to overcome some wolf species in a pair or individually.
