APC Northern governors rejected and said there is no room for consensus and the primary must hold. Also that power must shift to the South

Obviously this is punishment for not allowing him to pick his successor

Buhari broke the law by disobeying a subsisting court order. EL Rufai disobeyed Buhari's orders.

Ordinarily I wouldn't care of El-Rufai lead his people astray and they come for his head when the old money in their hands becomes worthless, but I'm concerned that the spiral effect will surely touch everybody. If there's unrest in Kaduna it will surely affect people down south who rely on food items coming from the north. They too in the north will be unable to have business dealings with their partners in the south.

You know what it is. It is party cohesion. No matter what a political party or business board or sports team or military alliance is supposed to provide a united front to the public.

The squabbles, fights arguments are in private. But now you have Buhari violating the most basic tenets of any association, (I don got mine so the organisation can go to hell - its continuity does not matter to me) so here we are. The moment you see this sort of fight in public, you can only imagine what has been going on in private.

By the way, why most of the huge cash deposit pictures wey dey online be hausa people?..Them no dey use bank at all or them na front for bandits and their elites?

The issue is not about politicians depositing their old money, it's about getting the new notes in exchange for the old ones; It will never happen at least not now.

They can send as many as their money mules to deposit billions with CBN, but how will they get new notes cash? CBN is only going to pay the let's 50m old notes they bring into their bank accounts. Nobody will hand them new notes as cash.

Now with CBN, EFCC, ICPC etc going around policing banks as to how they disburse/ration the new notes released to them.by CBN, It becomes increasingly difficult for a bank to collect let's say 30m and they will give all of it to their high networth customers who are politicians that just deposited 50m with CBN.

In fact, the politician will not even have access to his cash until after 4 weeks.( I think this was delibrate just to frustrate those of them that have young smart techy guys doing their thinking for them and may want to play the system). I think that's why the governors rushed to Supreme court instead of starting the case from Federal high court that has jurisdiction in such matters.

The old note has lost it value according to Buhari, meaning that the #22billion that a Northern Governor stashed in his house has lost value. So for him and others not to be #22billion poorer, they need to take the money to CBN. And since they cannot deposit #22billion at once or in person, they would use proxies to help them deposit it in bits. Those Hausa people are BDC operators, I believe they are licensed to have that much cash in their possession.

Now the burden is on CBN to do due diligence and ensure the unscrupulous ones among them working for Bandits don't end up depositing such illicit funds back to the banking system.

U actually believe politicians will have loads of new naira notes at home and they will be shouting this high? Stop playing bro.

If someone has 22 billion as alleged, do u think it will be easy to have converted 1/4 of it in the last one week? CBN that just brought out guideline this week sef. There's reason there's a time constraint and unnecessary Bereaucracy all at play here.
