Nigeria was doing relatively well thanks to the wonderful works and policies of successive Peoples Democratic Party administrations that held sway between 1999 and 2015. As at then, the country was an emerging economic global power, she was adjudged the biggest economy in Africa after a GDP rebate in 2014, and was tipped as one of the fastest growing economy in the world.

Like other progressive societies, Nigeria was not a perfect state, we had our challenges - which include Boko Haram terrorism in parts of the northeast, public service corruption and deficient structural makeup. Despite these challenges, greater efforts were put to address them. In fact, we were making relative progress until the All Progressive Congress took over government in May 2015.

Upon assumption of office, the APC eroded every single gains they inherited, they compounded every of our challenges that they inherited, and created more troubles for citizens. As at today, the suffering that Nigerians have been subjected to since 2015 under the APC is unprecedented. The Naira and petrol are now perpetual scarce commodities while inflation rate skyrockets. It is so bad that senior members of the ruling party that are loyal to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, their presidential candidate, are publicly lamenting the sad state of Nigeria - but can they divorce themselves from the failings of President Muhammadu Buhari? Absolutely No!

Yes Nigeria is bleeding - but there is hope. The only option before us is to make the #SafeChoice on February 25th by using our thumb to bring back the lost glory days of PDP. That #SafeChoice is Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of PDP. He is well prepared to #RecoverNigeria
