Are you okay, so because of one man, over 200 million people should suffer? This is why the whites are better than you. They would rather sacrifice one man than sacrifice 10 people.
But wait o, is is affecting you too? Then you must be related to Tinubu. We the masses are enjoying the policy

Another low IQ clown with nothing to offer than miserable low level sentiments .if you don't have the range to understand what I have said then say so..

Buhari wakes up lies to low intelligent characters like you that some politicians have stashed money in houses to buy vote and this is his solution:

1.To shabily pull out 3 trillion naira if old notes out of the economy .
2. Fails to replace them with 3 trillion of the new notes but instead under prints only 300 billion naira of the new notes .

3 : triggers a needless cash scarcity which inturn triggers a cash stampede by helpless NIGERIANs looking for cash in an economy where 40 percent still remain unbanked .

4.. Lies to the stampeding Nigerian that he has released enough money to banks when he has not which in turn pitches the masses against innocent bankers and the masses start getting aggressive against banks and at same time start a bank run which starts to hurt the banking industry.

5.. does not give bank enough time to scale the capacity of the the National electronic transaction switches being run by NIBBs so suddenly overnight demand for E- transaction grow by over 100 folds and the NIBBs capacity can't handle it smoothly leaving the entire system overwhelmed

6. And he is doing all this just weeks to a major National election.

7 . On Monday Bank workers are starting to withdraw their services which will deal more blows to the already weakened economy failed church rats like you are already struggling to survive in but since your brain is small you believe it's okay to suffer as long as Tinubu suffers 😅.. but in reality both has really affected Tinubu
You made valid points here but
the CBN Governor Emefiele takes the biggest blame here for the disastrous implementation of this new currency policy for not ensuring that enough new currencies are released to the public via the banks. Period.

Many folks who have used bank transfers are also complaining about the non-delivery of money paid into the bank accounts of their clients and relatives.

A relative of mine in Nigeria correctly sent 65k from his Access Bank current account yesterday morning (it was clearly debited) to a client's Fidelity Bank account and as of today, the 65k has NOT reflected in the client's bank account. This is NOT the best way to motivate Nigerians and non-Nigerians to embrace the cashless program.

You only have to make a simple tap of your card on a device and payment get's made for goods and services in the Western nations and other developed countries. They don't input their PIN details anymore into POS machines like it is done in Nigeria.

If banks are shut down, they would come back to meet a burnt building!

Shutting banks down will increase more attacks on banks.

After destroying the banks in your area, don't come and cause long queue for us in the banks in our area.

We are still ok with the free withdrawals we enjoy in the banks in our area whenever they get money from the CBN, no matter how little and also other services they render to us, believing that things will soon improve.

Some of you may never have banks in your area again after destroying the ones you have. At last, you will be the one to suffer it by travelling for hours just to carry out a simple bank transaction.

Destroying the banks only worsen your problems Banks are not the problem. Receive sense!

no entity or estate is permitted to bring the state to its knees .

It's an exclusive prerogative of the commander in chief to device means and ways to keep the system running by all means possible ; and that includes sending soldiers to take over banks and disburse cash
What about the entity attacking the banks? The commander in chief primary function is to provide security for the ppl and Businesses. I think you should focus on that.

My brother, Mozambique indeed. Today I couldn't find cash to do anything and had to resort to using bike to get around. I stopped almost 10 bikes before the 11th agreed to carry me with transfer. So if he hadn't, I would've been stuck even with all my "transfer"

The Nigerian army have lots of accountants.

They can take over the banks and continue dispensing cash to the public

I second your opinion if it was under the military regimen they will be forced to open with protection from the military it self

Why are you attacking the banks??
If you actually have money in the banks, can't you do transfer or pay with card where necessary?
The truth is that you're fighting this war for the criminal and corrupt Tinubu, and the rest of us won't join in the madness

what makes you think that this issue is just about tinubu, is it tinbu that is queuing at bank ATMs across the country unable to get cash?

is it everything you can do with transfer? can your children buy snacks in school with transfer? which is easier and faster?

Nigerians are very stubborn set of people!

You were given 3months notice to deposit your old note but, refused believing there most be extension of deadline.

If Buhari like, let him extend the deadline to the next 10years, some people will still wait for die minute.

Is only dull brains that doesn't know that El-rufai is fighting for his personal pocket.

Most of you don't even get it. Is it really about depositing old notes, or unavailability of new notes? Didn't ATMs dispense old notes until last week in January? Didn't people withdraw old notes over the counter until last week in January? How can you turn around and blame people when they didn't have other means? You think they prefer wasting away inside sun to do this? Crazy country, crazier citizens.

This country is very difficult to manage, I tell you. CBN gave a three month window, people refuse to deposit money, extended it still people refuse, rolled out new money, bank officials monetized it and gave it to highest bidder boycotting the massive masses. If CBN had printed lots of money and released into circulation aggressively like you said, would it have gotten to the masses too? I think majority of it would have also been courted by the elites. I just weak for Nigeria. Now people are destroying banks and they expect them to work? We come back to complain again that money is not circulating, after shutting down banks? I mean... people working in banks are human being too, since if them have been traumatized.
EagleNest:
CBN and Banks messed the whole exercise up by not distributing the new Naira notes quickly and aggressively. I still find fault with the timing but the ship has already sailed.

Lol. Is depositing ur old notes same as having new notes to spend?
Are u seriously incapable of thinking?

People need raw cash to live their lives. What is the essence of having 1million in my account and I can't buy petrol, or I can't buy moimoi?

Who told u Evey moimoi seller has an Android phone or has a bank account ? Or they told u that everyone is rich and comfortable like you are?

Keep decieving urselves.

Your number 2 shows that you're not as smart as you think you are. CBN has a function to control inflation and deflation by controlling the amount of Naira in circulation. Since about 65% of total money is outside of the CBN and most of it have been stashed away by your greedy politicians who have been able to brainwash you that they are fighting for you, CBN is finding it difficult to control the inflation, hence the new policy.

Nigeria already had one of the lowest cash to GDP ratio in the world of 1.8% , infact better than any developed country you know ..The amount of cash CBN needs to mop or in inject to control inflation is a regular tactical move and not this and there is a balance when it's done , if too much is mopped up it can trigger inflation also like we are seeing now where the silly action led inflation to 22%record levels

You people keep allowing Cunning Buhari to deceive y'all ...ask yourself what is vote buying? Its a total ruse in democracy and that's why the law allows only biological adults to vote ...Any adult is free to chose any fucking reason why he wants to vote for someone..If someone says the reason he wants to vote for Tinubu is because he will give him 5k it's non of our business and if you want to vote for Obi because you think he will fix the road to your village then it's also nobodys business afterall we must all vote fro a reason , the reason Agbados want to vote their candidate should be none of your business as long as the don't disenfranchise you in the process of doing so

Well said, the problem is you trying to educate the so called obidients, you cant, cos they are beyond saving, they have low iq and zero comprehension thats why they resort to abusive words and baseless arguments.. dont go down low to their level.
Most of them dont even know vote buying aka canvassing is normal all around the world during elections, the europeans just changed the name to lobbying..

I knew that BAT outburst in Abk on the eve of APC primaries that Buhari weeps will have grievous consequences on him and this is the result of that outburst...BAT should kiss the presidency bye bye cos something is cooking if he should win at worst Atiku or Obi will be rigged in...anything to stop BAT is welcome...

Paid protesters have been attacking banks just to have a good reason to activate this their last slot to fight against the Naira redesign program. The goal is for them to shutdown and not circulate the new/ old 200 Naira notes and use that as an excuse to force people to continue to use the the old Naira notes.

This plan will also fail and Nigerians have already started moving forward. The decision of the CBN president to allow us to use the old 200 notes has really helped the masses.
