True, it was from BBA that I got ro know about a lot of African cultures and this BBTitans is shedding more light on the peculiarities of different SA tribes. Unlike the core BBN fans here, I hope the show gets renewed for another maybe with a sprinkle of East Africans.

I think it is the way the borders were drawn due to colonialism because some of these minor ethnic groups in south africa are kind of major ethnic groups in neighbouring countries.

Nah, it's a traditional dance. I've seen mature SA women host such dances where young girls and little girls perform the dance. The girls move in something resembling a Tiv Swange dance , then lift up their legs very high before stamping them on the ground.

On each foot stomp, the older women chant something and clap in unison while the dancer ends a second movement with another stomp before another girl enters the circle and continues. Whether dressed topless, in native attire or even in corporate wear, each female is eager to jump into the circle and perform the dance. I'm not even from there and it gave me a warm almost proud feeling!

Look at Justin aka no-stress baby Justin, left to right smoothly, easily the most chilled low-key good dancer in the house meanwhile sister Blue giving the uncensored Mzansi moves.

Oh! That's the Reed dance traditionally known as Umhlanga. The Reed dance is actually the name of the festival that encompasses all the activities from singing to dancing. It's a Zulu festival that promotes sexual purity.
