Oga I have seen a couple of fights between Tigers and how the snap each other's neck to death, but I have never seen a Tiger snap a lion in his neck. Lions are too hairy, tigers teeth can't break their necks. Although Tigers weigh more than lions but when it comes to fight Tigers tire out easily than the Lion..

Thank you! But note the way they all argue this. "Google search". But Google can not give you a true result, they only show you which is bigger on average and then they conclude. In the animal kingdom, especially among predators, especially when dealing with a Lion, size doesn't always matter. A Lion has its armor which is the mane for protection against any attack to the very neck most presdators come at.

These people search bodyweight and that is all they base there weak argument with, but when a Lion is at equal bodyweight they turn and say the Tiger isn't fully grown. That's cheap!

All these assumptions may not be enough to do justice.

It's a fight that can go both ways depending on circumstances.
A lion that has not eating for the past 7 days will get killed by a tiger that has been eating enough calories for the past days.

That is because it it illegal everywhere cause these animals are endangered and they tey do not leave in same habitat for us to confirm it.

But zoologists and animal trainers, even people of early 20 century who pitched them together said Lions kill Tigers. Go look up Clyde Beatty on YouTube or read his book "Jungle performers".

that is just a title, that doesn't make them stronger. Hippos, rhinos, elephants are all stronger than lions, but u don't see them calling this animals king of the jungle. Some people have watched lion king too much and base their argument on it. Most people have already said it if they place the strongest tiger with the strongest lion then the lion is going to die, that is simple.

Talk of a tiger. Talk about shear strength and size. Alone, tigers take down large animals that lions need numbers to overwhelm.
Tigers have large teeth, stronger jaws and paws. Never underestimate that.
Most people have seen lots of documentaries about lions, and very few about tigers (it's much harder to study full grown tigers without getting yourself killed!). So if you're betting on the lion, it's likely more about sentiments than facts.

King, not just because of strength, but family organisation! Besides, the jungle being referred to is mainly East Africa, where tigers don't exist.
In Africa, we don't know tigers at all, we only know their leopard and cheetah cousins, which are far less powerful. So we dubbed the lions king.

Even a Grizzly bear sef can take down a full grown male lion one on one..

For your info, Africa has the biggest beast is the world, any animal that a group of Lions can take down a single Lion can do it too. Lions face far bigger beasts than a Tiger.

Show me one animal, with video, you know that a Tiger took down and I will show two videos of a single Lion taking down even bigger preys.

Tigers are ambush predators, they sneak in from the back or from a thick bush. Lions come at preys from a face to face position and attack, the African continent has less bushes yet a Lion still has better killing percent than your almighty Tiger.

Thank you! These guys believe a Lion is too weak to hunt big preys yet they still believe it or weak to fight big predators. Ignorance!

oga, the videos you provided are very old videos, imagine a video of 1933, that's almost 100 years ago, and the Tigers in that video sef are much smaller than the lions, You can't put an adolescent tiger in a fight against a matured fully grown Lion.
Show us a recent video, I mean video of atleast 5, 7, 10 years back, or even this year's video. Until then I stand to tell you say na Tiger go win Lion.

Tigers are the largest cats in the world, but most of the big ones are nearly extinct.
You're simply comparing lions taking down large herbivores that can't effectively defend themselves against a skilled hunter.
Carnivore to carnivore, the largest will always have the upper hand, and this case it's the tiger.
