Very correct, and the reason is very obvious. If you make a post to thank a celebrity for helping you, you have caused serious trouble for him/her.

Every family member, friends and just random persons will stampede him with mountain of requests.

As a person, once I help you I must warn you to keep it to yourself and if you break the rule, I will disconnect from you totally.

I once helped a distant cousin at a time my brother in-law was asking for a financial favour I couldn't grant. The fellow I helped went behind me to thank my wife for the assistance we rendered to him. That singular act caused some problems.
