Most Yorubas claim Lagos! I have lived in Lagos, Oyo and Ogun so you're not talking to an ignorant person. I only enjoyed Oyo state...Lagos was hellish due to traffic, reckless drivers, abgeros.

Now tell me, does Lagos have pipe borne water? Does Lagos have constant electricity? Does Lagos have emergency response like 911? Does Lagos have good healthcare facilities and insurance system? Does Lagos

Why should the poor pay tax then the rich stash their cash in tax havens and a person like you wants us to accept it as "normal".

In Research there is something we call Confirmation Bias it simply means you have your mind made up about something and you always look for "evidence" that only supports what you already believe in.

For Obi supporters EVERYTHING about obi must be good
Obi supporters accuse Atiku and Tinubu supporters for a lot of things they are guilty of.
The insults against Sheik Gumi reduced from the moment obi visited him for support. What would obi supporters say if atiku or tinubu visit Gumi (if obi had not)? we all know the answer to this question.

This same supporters mock tinubu and atiku anytime it seems their rally did not go well but when obi's rally flops, they start to give excuses.

Uk government closes peter obi's company, a company that took loan to buy the first property he had over there. A company he has refused to declare the accounts for years. If this was tinubu or atiku's company what would obi supporters say?

Atiku Supporters
Disclaimer. I am an atiku supporter, but i will try to be fair.

Atiku supporters especially the northerners are bragging about the north's voting power and why it is all that matters.

Atiku supporters know this man has serious corruption charges on his neck yet it is still ok.

Dino and Reno omokri are old men that are shameless. Very distastable men that would say and do anything to push atiku forward but we pretend they are doing a good job when in fact they are bunch of clowns we should be ashamed of.

I am yoruba and an athiest but out of all these crooks i have no choice but to support the corrupt atiku. I have my reasons.

Obi is not a saint nor savour. Talk is cheap and politicians are actors.

Tinubu is not 10% of what he has succeeded in making people believe he is.

I like your objective analysis. I'm not for any of these 3 politicians because they're all bad (only people that allow themselves to be fooled due to their gullibility will think any of them is good). As you said, any of them (actually anyone) will be better than Buhari. You see, Buhari's problem is not just incompetence (though he should be among the top 5 most incompetent people on the planet), he is bad luck in biological form. If you notice his first coming and this second coming, how things moved when he traveled and how they swiftly deteriorated anytime he came back etc you'll understand what I mean.

This remains to be seen. If I was to rate my confidence in the candidates it would be like this:

Obi 65%
Tinubu 60%
Atiku 40%

Although all 3 have been in government before, only Obi and Tinubu have really shown that they can deliver tangible results and the edge Obi has to me is he might be a little more hands on than Tinubu. Tinubu is too frail I think to sustain and direct the capacity to see things through. Atiku while he was in government for 8years has nothing we can see a tangible result of anything he proposed or pursued.

Ultimately, Nigeria's economy is battered and leaking like a bucket that was run over by molue, who ever wins has a very very tough job on their hands. It will be very easy to fumble it.

I support obi not because of now but the future, the growth we seek is not something that will happen in a year or 5 but a process in progress.. we need someone that would be able to launch us into that new era.. at the moment all politicans are evil cos they are all groomed by the same evil state and we can only make intelligent guess as to who will add a little bit of sanity into the system..tinubu is a deadly dictator as seen lagos (he is notorious for cornering everything and controlling everything, he doesnt believe in opposition, such a man should not wield serious power anytime especially now that he is frail and weak.. he fight with anything and everything..just take lagos for example, imagine trying that against the nation..now he is weak meaning his govt will be ruled by 3 different cabals,his wife, his son seyin tunubu and his biz/close associates and that will mean doom for the country with several policy summersault like pmb has been doing)
As for atiku he belong to the old order and definitely not bringing anything new to the system, he seems like a calm but utterly corrupt like tinubu guy but those around him are buffons which means he will likely work with buffons and those that knows nothing about growth and development

as for Obi, he is not so better than the others but he is relatively meticulous going by his antecendents ans thats what we truly need now, he seems to have energy to listen and follow through.. he is not propped up by the system which means he will to a large extent have free hand to perfom..when ost of the system power is fighting you, and realtively young memebr of the society is supporting you, know there is more to meet the eye, this is historical with proves accross worlds..for example when every state powerful guys, cabals were fighting GEJ, it was then we should have known something was off but we took the bait

All we need now is someone to propell us a little into the next generation(nigerians are fighter full of character and zeal to succeed), someone like osibanjo would have been best since we lost that opportunity with GEJ but obi is good to..GEJ was liberal and progressive and all we needed to do was to look for someone better that him but instead we went back and today we can see the effect.. a growth is a growth even if its 1% and the most important growth of all is not the infrastruvture but the people..if the people psyche grow, overtime it will tranform to material growth but when people are repressed from expressing themselves, when they are bulldozed by poverty and violence, they become zombies and nothing come out of such..

i am a yoruba man, i dont follow an religion cos i know im above them, not atheist but i will vote peter obi and lastly history is not there for us to joggle our memeory but as a pointer to the fututre..dont defend or support your oppressor

thanks for not insulting me, but seing value in what i said. Most responses i got were insults from obi supporters, wbich confirms what i said about them, they dont think at all.
