Apart from Northern governors sef, the PDP house of assembly members sef go cook for their party. They won't have any problem selling the presidency of Atiku to their kinsmen.

Rabiu is a very crafty Man that's why at this moment LP, PDP, and APC are still begging him.

What is the option in a country like Nigeria that will be better than Democracy
Any system that weakens the government at the centre works fine with me. States, local governments and even regions to have more of a say in the control of their resources and even the sort of laws they'd live under...but especially their resources. There are certain things that states and regions should have more of control over but we find are in the FG exclusive list, so it kind of creates a winner take all kind of situation during every presidential election.

The strange thing about Àtiku's moves this election period is that he's not really had much media attention scrutinising him.

Most of us don't even know much about his plans or manifesto till date. All the media has been throwing in our face is Tinubu and Obi's stories/plans.

It will be shocking if Atiku springs a surprise, wins and then we doon't even know what campaign promise we will hold him to account for after 4 years 🤦‍♂️

If Atiku do mistake win this election ehn, make Wike just enter creek join militants dey burst pipeline o grin
Funny thing is I don't think Atiku would go after Wike personally if he wins, most likely his play would be to collect the Rivers part infrastructure from him and give someone else.

Wike boxed himself too much into a corner, na why e dey where e dey so. If APC wins, them go throway am go one corner, the only thing he might gain from them is freedom from persecution. He knows Peter Obi won't go after him if he wins, and that's why he went with BAT.

What you are describing is still Democracy and its actually what Nigeria is designed to be a Federal system where we have states or regions being independent they have their own civil service have their own state police etc

Democracy is where everyone vote for their leaders

The other options are where God chooses aka Monarchy
The strongest take power aka Military
The select few choose
or
Everyone choose

Atiku was the first to release his manifesto though, one thing that's stayed consistent with him is his plans for privatization and restructuring. If he wins and successfully restructures the country like the South has clamoured for, it'd be the biggest gift he gave the country.

Atiku will either come first or third, I don't see any middle ground for him with the way his campaign has gone.

Atiku reused the 2019 manifesto verbatim. The university professor who wrote the policy document cane out to complain in August that he's not been paid for it and he was supposed to be augmented by the Atiku team.

The Obi vs Tinubu media slagging favours Atiku. PDP media team just relaxed for Hundeyin and the rest to do damage to Tinubu's chances in the North while Atiku walks in to mop up votes.

And both Obi and Tinubu camps detest each other so much, they are willing to accept Atiku as an alternative. Even on this thread.

It wont be shocking because most APC on ground know its a bg fight with Atiku and they are not underrating him

Currently with the latest new notes and fuel scarcity there have been more people disenchanted with APC and this favours Atiku more. He is currently in my opinion the slight favourite over Tinubu

Obi is just for distraction and entertainment

No

Atiku and Tinubu will finish 1st and 2nd in no particular order

Obi will be 3rd

It is this calculation that i do not understand. Why would Atiku winning be a surprise? I always thought he was the most likely winner.

Atiku might not plan to go after Wike personally, but Wike's kinsmen who campaigned for Atiku but were persecuted will ask for their own pound of flesh and Atiku will definitely not deny them. Wike closed filling stations owned by loyalists of Atiku and claimed they are into bunkering. This morning I saw a news report on expolsion rocking a media orgnization owned by a known Atiku loyalist in Rivers State.

Most of these guys will come for Wike if Atiku wins by chance and Atiku won't deny them the chance of getting back at Wike
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by VoteTinubu2023: 3:05pm On Feb 22, 2023
We have gotten to the "Democracy is not a good system for Nigeria" stage.

Soon, we will get to the "Maybe non-Obi supporters should not even be allowed to live at all, if they can't see Obi as the Messiah, they are holding the country back"

That's the way fanaticism is built. Believe in your own holy and genuine intentions so much that you see people who don't subscribe to it as lesser humans.

Democracy is the best form of Government in the world because of the principle of ACCOUNTABILITY. But because some people don't support Messiah Obi, we should strip people off their voting rights.

After stripping them off their voting rights, what next will you strip them off? Maybe their lives. cheesy

Which means if Obi and Rabiu had agreed on a merger, APC and PDP would be planning for 2027 by now shocked
bro, merger would have done more damage than good

Northerners no dey like anything second

And obi sure wouldn't have agreed to be 2md to kwankwaso

Infact what kwankwaso is doing now is more fruitful than the merger

Dividing the already divided northern votes

The media didn't really scrutinize any of the manifestos like that sef.

Probably why it seems like it's LP/APC that's been getting the bulk of scrutiny is that APC relies heavily on propaganda and LP has taken control of the most important part of the propaganda machinery which is social media. APC has on their part fought back in their own way through traditional media outlets they own, and their online soldiers.

I do not share the sentiments that Obi is a distraction. In fact, Obi would impact on votes Tinubu would've easily clinched in places like Lagos and the north central like Plateau, Benue and Nasarawa.

Obi is headache for the two parties in different parts of the country. Places like Delta, Edo where PDP would've have hoped to have a great showing, Obi will be a problem for them there too.

I'm surprised he still insists on Obi being a distraction when he just asked someone from Zamfara and was told that Obi is what's reigning in Gusau.
