I think Buhari is doing the free, fair and credible election thing just b’cause he knows the Nigerian previous elections were often rigged/manipulated which was why he failed thrice before he could managed to win the fourth contest. Psychologically, someone can say that Buhari would had won maybe his first or second contest if it was not rigged/manipulated because he later won the fourth contest when he was about to give up. The Bitterness there are firstly, that Buhari who does not believe in vote buying felt he was being cheated that they bought his votes by money. Secondly he believes he could win but was denied 3 attempts because he later won. If he beloved he could not win without merger . He would had given up because unlike other politicians, Buhari doesn’t believe in vote buying
