Happy we are topping league with:

out of form Atleti (finished last in their ucl group)

Sevilla in the bottom half of the table

A stretched Madrid squad

Valencia in relegation zone

On and off Bilbao with Inaki as the first choice 9...lol
How's Real Madrid stretched? They have injuries and so do we. Played almost same amount of games.

See, every team is struggling in one way or the other. No team will ever have everything going well for them. Most EPL top teams are struggling. Bayern and PSG also not having everything there way.

Omo Barca European games dey taya my life. Cos I dey wonder whether wetin I dey see na the same thing wey dey happen for pitch over there wey Xavi dey.

Xavi no go do us anything for Europe apart from tears and gnashing of teeth if he doesn't raise his tactical acumen ASAP. It's grossly lacking.
In fact, a team of Real Sociedad and Villarreal are more potent threats to established teams that this Xavi's Barca that's only contented with domestic laurels.
I just tire.

I just dey miss the last time we had a tactical coach in Enersto Valverde. I no believe say I go miss that man wey I swear for many times but the guy was good tactically asides from his love for old players and predecessor Enrique.
Valverde might be very slow to make changes or barely makes it at all, but if that man out sub for match, you go almost always see the impact.

Person wey we first dey yab that time as the most clueless coach.
Dude hinges mostly on Messi and Suarez's brilliant partnership to work, but if the chips were down, man with his routine and predictable 75th, 85th and 88th minute changes dey work. We were even comeback kings for a season back then.

These coaches since that man don't know the words "tactics" "technicality". Na just arrange players for field go play.
That man literally beat Inter at San siro while taking a nap.... that's how confident he his in his craft...not complaining about referees all the time like a b*tch

I have no doubt Betis will win, that’s for sure…football nowadays isn’t won by having the best players all around the pitch, just have a few good players and good tactical acumen, you’d be topping any league. Take for instance Arsenal and Newcastle, most of these players are mid but see what they’re doing.
Do you know the first two seasons of Arteta? Do you think Arsenal were this good?

Most of you here are highly myopic, never sees beyond there freakkking nose. Success takes time. To build a good team takes time.

Nonsense.

At least they're not struggling in Europa (didn't even get a chance to play...got dumped at the playoffs)

So we should be like Arsenal... grin no champions league football for the next 6 years will be a good start

Struggling in Europe is not the only yardstick to measure how good or bad a team is. There are different competitions. Win the league and everyone will forget our European struggles.

We don't need to go 6 years without European football. We just need to keep getting better as a team.

A start would be to win the league this season. Things will become easier from there on.
At least, we get to enter a much easier group not containing a certain Bayern.

You need to make your own luck.

Comparing Assnal and Barca is defeatist mentality, continue this way and Barca would become another Ac Milan and Manyoo… A big club should always act big, once you give room for laxity stupid talks like this would begin to set in. We aren’t looking for Success, we are looking to maintain standards that has been battered by stupid coaches like Xavi and his likes.

This is not a defeatist mentality. It is called understanding the reality. We have been atrocious in Europe for over 7yrs now in Europe. And suddenly, we begun to be weak also domestically, only winning one out of the last 5 league title.

How do you launch yourself back?

A wise big club will aim to solidify there domestic performances first and then slowly, aim to get better internationally. It took ManUtd and Arsenal this long to make a comeback because they got lost in what is more important. Slowly they slided into mediocrity and lost relevance.

But we have chosen to solidify our standings locally first and aim to gather momentum to become a strong European powerhouse once more.

Xavi best coach on the universe grin (according to some deluded fans)

I have said it countless times Xavi isn't the man for us,

And if the man is not relieved of his duty by summer, then all barca fans should be ready for another premium tears next season embarassed

Juve won their league for 10 straight seasons, where is the momentum they’ve been gathering over the years? Bayern has won how many league titles in a row for how many seasons now, how many champions league has it given them in recent years? If you like win the league 20 times in a row, if you have nothing to show for it in Europe you’re mediocre.

During that period, Juve reached two champions league final. So they were close to winning in the European space.

Do you think if Juve were to win another league title, it will be a disaster for them? They haven't won it for 2 years now.

Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by COOL10(m): 4:28pm On Feb 24, 2023
This is what happens when you sell players like Memphis Depay and Aubameyang , only to end up putting midfielders like Gavi, Pedri and sometimes Sergi Roberto on the left wing. How would you prefer a Ferran Torres to a Memphis Depay? 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Xavi keeps on disappointing me with his managerial decisions.

Stop making noise. You people are useless in europe the main stage. You think I troll you people because of your dead league. I'm trolling you people mostly because of the numerous disgrace you have in champions league and Europa you think if you guys were doing well there anybody will question how weak your league is? Continue using laligo that is a two horse league to boast while you are continually embarrassed where it matters more. 🤭.

I might hate this club with passion cause of 2009 but you can't have lewadowski, ding dong, pedri dembele, araujo and be salzburg level in europe. Its either the coach is not good like potter or you don't have more good players to support the standard ones. I actually hope you don't fix the problem so I can continue laughing at you plenty nights.

I’m sure Juve would want to swap at least 5 league titles for just 1 champions league. Moreover Juve only got to the champions league final twice because Barca was mid and allowed this same mediocre performances.

Real Madrid is currently repping us in Europe until we come back to form. Until then, continue receiving from them. The other day, it was Liverpool. Disrespect laliga and you go collect

We'll probably win the league so xavi being sacked isn't a major possibility, He paid 5m out of his own cash to help us draft his appointment, Maybe another embarrassment in Europe next season or a la Liga bottling which I doubt will be the deal breaker
That being said some players have to leave to fund our summer transfers, Lenglet might go but I'm very sure it would be for a cut price deal, One or two of fati, ferran, Raphinha might have to move too to fund a deal for a quick, dynamic left winger, Though I don't want to entertain the thought of it again but if united or anybody come with a mind-blowing offer for FDJ Laporta might be tempted to cash in on him, hopefully it won't happen, Kessie too would probably move I'm almost sure of that since he's getting interest from inter and the likes
We need to get a world class LW, backup striker, CDM, RB, An LCB on a free (We'll probably get one of inigo Martinez or evan ndicka) but how many of these can be pushed through with funds availability or Tebas always thinking of new strategies to frustrate us?
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 7:08pm On Feb 24, 2023
Normally under koeman as tactically deficienct as he was,we would have had one or two of our la masia gems being heavily in the spotlight already but xavi seems to be extremely poor at grooming youth, Mostly sticking with ready made players, Torre he convinced to come is not playing, Chadi riad's only appearance this season was a very brief cameo against osasuna, Angel Alarcon hasn't really been given time to show what he's made of despite our left wing screaming for help, Barbera has been banging goals in the UEFA youth league but can't be tried as a short term lewa backup, Hope lamine Yamal doesn't follow the same route

Where we wan see world class winger buy? That’s another problem. The last word class winger we signed was Neymar, to me dembele hasn’t proved himself yet, but at least he tries to make a difference. Fati showed potential but personally I think he isn’t being managed well. Raphinha and ferran no follow, one of them has to be sold this summer so we can get a good winger.
By the way, I don’t know if it’s just me but I’ve noticed that in almost all our games we usually play badly in the second half, the intensity drops. I don’t know if it’s because to tiredness due to our style of pressing abi xavi no dey sabi Wetin to talk at half time.

get Marcus thuram(S), Rafael leao (LW),as for right winger figure out yourself, but those two names I mentioned will help your team
