So this morning I wanted to complain to gt bank about an airtime I bought with my app Monday but didn't get
I messaged them on WhatsApp not knowing it was a scammer
Before I could determine that he was a scammer (the only reason I sensed was because he said I need to snap the front and back of my atm card for avt verification)
But before that he gave me a link to fill a complaint form
On the form I had to input the last 6digits of my card and pin
Is that enough to wipe my account?
Though I have transferred all my money from there
But it's my salary account, money will enter nextweek
Do I need to block the card?

Just go and block the card.

Block the card asap. The digits and your CV\/ is sufficient to empty your account. They don’t need your pin. Your account is compromised. The 6 digits before the last 4 digits is your unique card number.

GTBank or any bank for that matter will never ask for sensitive details of their customer's account.

It's good that you transferred all your money from your account. That's a very smart move. But do ensure that you block your card and I hope this reaches you a lesson.

Like I said, their are machines that, just like atm doesn’t required otp, they don’t also requires otp..

There are several merchants online where you can make payment without pin or OTP. On apple stores for instance, all that is required is the number on your card and your cv\/. There are betting sites that their payment platform is also similar.

@Theyemmie If you're still asking wether to block your card after revealing those digits to a scammer then you're very unserious. Do you think he doesn't know what to do with those digits?
You may learn the HARD WAY if you allow anything to drop into that account without blocking the card.
