A Cry For Help by lanrei(m): 6:09am On Feb 28, 2023
Good morning fellow Nairalanders, it is with a saddening and desperate heart I'm writing up this note. I'm a married man and a father of two lovely girls. Life hasn't not be fair to me for about two years now, but who am I to complain, It could get it worse than some. I have been living hand to mouth, with any menial jobs I could lay my hands on. I'm not a university graduate so most time I don't get a decent job, I work in a bakery in the morning and in the night I work as a guard in the market close to my house. I lost both job when the market was razed with fire last month, since then I have become a nuisance to myself and my family, my wife can not walk freely in the Neighborhood as a result of shame from her creditors. I have prayed and fasted, looked for any work that My put food on the table but at the moment non is forthcoming, I'm an orphan and I don't have friends to turn to. Getting garri to drink for the family is hard enough, I am getting tired and drain of life and honestly hope seem like a dwindling light, death seem not to be an option because I will be scarring my children for life I don't want to do that, I'm crying out for help. Pls help me, pls help me I'm dieing slowly, I will appreciate any help whatsoever. I pray misfortune never near your household.

This is part of the reason why we are clamoring for a compassionate, competent, and good government in Nigeria.
People are really suffering because the government failed!!
If there are companies here and there, people like you who are unskilled/non-graduates will see where to work and so on…
But some people are bent on destroying this country more and more.

Learn a skill or several.
Getting paid through skills will cater to your feeding and other petty expenses.
It's also more secure than taking up random jobs.
Whatever you learn stays with you forever, no one can take it from you.
And if you play your cards right and plan properly, you can scale and expand.
