First of all I want to congratulate ‘in advance’ whoever is pronounced the winner of the presidential election and all winners from all parties in the senatorial contest. As a liberal I want to be as neutral as I possibly can irrespective of the mixed reactions towards the results coming from inec.
In my opinion, I think PDP as the biggest opposition party killed its chances of defeating the incumbent APC when they went against their zoning rules and selected Atiku (a northerner) in the primaries, not minding that the outgoing president is also a northerner. This move was backed by some northern party oligarchs in their bid to ensure that the north retains power not minding the dangers ahead.
While APC was fighting to retain power even going against the wish of some party members by selecting a Muslim/Muslim candidates, PDP’s primaries as the main opposition was more of the north retaining power than the party defeating their main rival APC. In the end all the aspirants and delegates went home with huge envelopes and Atiku(a northerner) emerged as their candidate. Wike and co were betrayed, Obi defected to Labour Party. This paved way for the Rise of Labour Party. The south east has been a stronghold of the PDP since 1999 but the results coming from that side clearly indicates that LP has taken over the region, even sitting governors were defeated in their own constituencies. The gubernatorial elections is going to be interesting…
Once again congratulations to the winners.

PDP will never win elections again in the South East, our party now is Labour party. Just like Obi made APGA strong, he don introduce Labour for us. We don leave PDP for Wike and co. Next elections Labour is taking over Edo State, Imo State and Anambra.

Obi left PDP on his own to labor party and now PDP is seen as expired people's party on presidential level but still standout on governorship level.

Personally I think Tinubu’s administration is going to be totally different from Buhari’s .
in the state level I have seen different performances from two different governors of the same party.

Rivers, Akwbm, Delta, Edo and Bayelsa are stil Pdp with no LP governor is SS.
PDP is well alive and awoken in the North.
Is good that you be specific in your assertion. Nigeria doesn’t end in the SE or north.
LP has taken over in the SE.
LP is almost non existent in north and SW
APC is still majority in the SW with two PDP governors. However, I expect APC to be more stronger than ever in SW with Tinibu at the helm of affairs.
