First Lagos is mixed state of 50% immigrants and mostly igbos extraction this in a way affected the vote cast being that they have their own also contesting.

They is no way as a head u will satisfy everyone to 100% so some part of the state the president didn't do well during his tenure as a gov of the state, that segment of the state will vote against him.

Political sentiment also play out.

In those areas he won especially in the north, sorry to say this the igbo tribe does not have good relationships there from what give birth to 1966 war therefore history played out here being that the president position was zone to South they decided to go for tinubu instead of obi.

I must confess obi really gave a good shot in the last election. If he is to contest again he should work on his strategy, work on gaining more trust from core northern part.
