Fayose congratulates Tinubu, calls for Ayu’s resignation

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has congratulated President-elect Bola Tinubu on his victory in the presidential election held last Saturday.

He said this in a tweet on Wednesday.

In a tweet, he wrote: “I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his election as the next President of Nigeria.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Tinubu winner of the 2023 presidential election.

Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 votes, while Atiku came second with 6,984,520 votes.

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi emerged third with 6,101,533 votes.

While calling for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, the former Ekiti governor implored the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party to accept defeat in the interest of the nation.

“As for the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, I call for his immediate resignation for his inability to move the party forward.

“As the presidential election comes to an end, I urge other contestants, especially Atiku Abubakar to accept the outcome in the overall interest of our country. There will always be another day.”

Ayu resignation after losing his own state and sink PDP completely is not necessary

Just wait and see the remaining PDP decamping end masse

No money Again

Wike was the one using Rivers money to pay the PDP NWC ever since, until Atiku won the Ticket...
Obaseki can see how powerful wike is...PDP down in Edo.

Atiku is retired already in 2027 Atiku is over 80 years

So Ayu resignation now is dead rubber

Atiku unwittingly used his ethnic agenda to water down the strength of the PDP which was the most viable opposition.

Let him and Ayu go and lick their wounds grin

Fayose, you have been sleeping all through the campaign and electioneering process. Now that is is over, you are awake to congratulate.

As for the urchins on this forum celebrating this madness, time will tell. I strongly believe that justice will prevail and the rightful winner will claim his mandate.

(In your hearts, you all know that Thieffnubu did not win this election. So stop deceiving yourselves)
