Everything you said would have made sense if you didn't use that derogatory term imposed on us by the colonialists in order to make us 2nd class citizens in our country.
Can you mandate a British person to speak Yoruba in Yoruba land or Igbo in Igbo land or worse still go to their own countries and refer to their own language as the local dialect in order for you to dominate?

I understand that Gbadebo is fluent in Igbo yet cannot flow in Yoruba language. So riddle me this, how does he intend to interact with the local Lagos market women? The local artisans,, the danfo drivers, the omo oniles, the obas and baales It means only the Igbos in Lagos would be able to have a real heart to heart discussion with the Lagos state Governor. Even in the UK you have to do an English language test to qualify for work permits and an extended English exam in order to become a citizen.

I am not against Gbadebo as a person and I respect his personality a lot, I am pro LP at national level but when it comes to Lagos, me and many others who voted LP at national level would rather vote APC, PDP or ADC.

Lagos IS YORUBA LAND and even if the governor is Igbo should be able to communicate perfectly in Yoruba!
