BREAKING

Supreme Court just ruled that the President broadcast on the naira redesign policy was in bad faith and ruled that the old naira notes remain legal tender till 31st Dec 2023.

I think it's very shameful that the supreme court has allowed itself to be used as a political football..

Lawyers in Nigeria are just wasting their time. The law is ultimately meaningless and for the poor masses only.

What you're enjoying today and boasting with I have enjoyed it wayback that I don't even regard it as anything. Okene Waterboard was among the earliest in modern Nigeria, in Okene that I grew up we had potable water and good roads with telephone lines and lights dotting the streets. The roads were so smooth that speed bumps were put in place to reduce accidents. When a man from a poor background by a stroke of fortune becomes wealthy he becomes haughty, proud and extremely arrogant forgetting that others have been there and done that.
Let me not generalise.

Time limit is important. The old note be taken out of circulation, it was just the way the CBN implemented it that was horrible.

Tinubu is INTERNATIONALLY recognised and acknowledged as the president elect

If Emefiele does not align, he will find himself in contempt of court.

What we need now is for the supreme court to order the CBN to release more new notes or more of the lower denominations

The implementation of that policy was atrocious.

The old notes are still in bank vaults. It hasn't been destroyed.

The Supreme Court cant order the CBN to release more new notes since that's what they should be doing logically.

The question is more whether the Supreme Court judgement fits with CBN money supply Mathematics ie has every new note from CBN been accounted for with a like for like exchange of an old note to ensure there is no oversupply
