See the overnight Lagosian I just caught: aljharem

A thread from 2011 rose up to first page on Politics. It was a news report about Yoruba elders meeting Jonathan to complain about marginalization. (First Picture)

Lo and behold, I saw this former non-yoruba disparaging Yorubas as "this people" and calling Tinubu "their master", so I decided to look up his posts

Today, he has repented into a born again Yoruba Lagosian.

Infact he supported Tinubu candidacy throughout. He is referring to himself as Yoruba and Lagosian in his posts. He his calling GRV an omo ale jati jati and telling 'woke' Yorubas to resist invasion from Igbo settlers.

Eko e dide Yoruba ronu abeg and tell us who are true sons of the soil because as an Igbo I'm getting confused whether I'm also a Lagosian

Right now everyone is tracing their heritage to their Lagos ancestors. Being a pure breed Lagosian is a hot cake now.

He was active in cultural section in the early 2010s here on Nairaland.

I have changed my moniker mutiple times since 2014

Aljaram is from isale Eko, he is of Awori/Edo stock. He is from people like Eletu-Edibo, Obanikoro etc.

I believe he was temporarily in PDP with the likes of his uncle Obanikoro

Aljaram is from Eko just like the family of Vivour Rodes.

Perhaps he was angry his brother Obanikoro lost to the Akwa ibom guy.

I am not Aljaram.

But he knew so much about the Oba of Lagos that I once asked him about his heritage and affiliation.

He said is from the Edo/ Awori stock but since the 50s have seen themselves as 100% Yorubas.

I believe it was in those Lagos belongs to Edo thread after Jonathan lost his election in 2015/2016
