A 32-year-old Labour Party House of Representatives candidate, Uche Annie Nwankwo won the House of Representatives Election for Idemmili North/South Federal Constituency of Anambra State, IGBERETV reports

He defeated other candidates which include Obinna Chidoka (Osita Chidoka's brother) and Ikenna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana's brother)

An obedient wrote on Twitter;

"I recall the day Osita Chidoka came on Space shortly after Peter Obi became an aspirant. I was pumped up to listen but with fine English & swag, Osita tried to convince us PO didn't stand a chance. His logic wasn't logic-ing.

"Well, a 32-yr old LP candidate just beat his brother, Obinna Chidoka to snatch the House of Reps seat. Obinna, who was the incumbent came 4th, after APGA and APC, and will not be returning to the Federal House after May 29.

"Our new LP HOR elect is the young man in the middle.

Now I know d true definition of Obi's word "a working system". Dis is pure working system and everybody that came to power through Labour/Obi should perform or be booted out.

As I said, nothing new. Labour will soon see it's own version of recycling of old politicians and their children or proteges and it goes on and on. All we need is quality representation, there is nothing new in our parties, nothing ideological. Because if it were, Peter Obi will never be in Labour Party because by nature he is capitalist inclined while Labour Parties are typically inclined towards welfarism and socialism. It's all just about movements here and there for convenience and to fill up gaps in our leadership. This leaves us with poor party development and indirectly stunted development in our democratic principles. All motion with movement.

But all the same, We MOVEE!

Don't blame them.

That's the Nigerian myopic mentality as regards politics.
The "inexperienced, unknown or poor" is to denote someone seen as not versed in the ways politics is played here.
In other words, you must be savvy with cheating, bribery and all the dirty tricks associated with politics.

Well, I can't hold brief for the young man but I do know the Dad. Annie Okonkwo is a monied man way back. I'm sure he got his son's back in the event snakes and alligators move to swallow him in the house.
