Labour party has 7 senators

Peter Obi is the new jagagban of Nigeria

Without merging with other party, he was able to pull this......with 8 months old party
E shock...
. winning Lagos , Abuja hands down...

Tinubu no even reach with him ACN in those days
Re: INEC Releases Names Of Senators-elect (see List) by TheNiceGuy(m):
For fairness, if Senate President should come to South, let it go to South South.

South East deserves nothing in the incoming administration, aside the fact that they gave insignificant votes to APC, 90% of their Leaders in APC are against Tinubu's Presidency.

Aside Umahi, Uzodimma and Ken Nnamani if he were to be in APC, Others doesn't hide their hatred and disdain towards Yorubas.

The likes of Onu, Okorocha deserted Tinubu.

Ungrateful Ngige deserted him and even voted against Tinubu.

Nwajuiba took him to Court so that his candidacy is nullified.

OUK prefers Northerner should have the ticket instead of Yoruba, he aligned later and was still doing anti-party in his State.

They deserves no Senate President, we should start appreciating who supports us not the other way round

Godswill Akpabio should take it
While Oshiomhole as principal officer since he's a first timer

Does it matter? Let their jobs and responsibilities affect the citizens positively.

It does not matter who they voted for. If BAT construct any road, will that stop the dot people from using it?

If the price of regular family bread is #1500, will you telling the seller you voted for BAT make him sell for #500?

Labour party got 7 seats, incredible
Re: INEC Releases Names Of Senators-elect (see List) by Nobody:
People that got 7 out of 109 senatorial seats are claiming they won the election where has that ever happened before? Even in the US with more advanced voting system presidential election always directly influence senatorial election. In 2016 when Trump won the wave dragged GOP to senate and Rep majority. In 2015 when Buhari won the wave also dragged Apc to senate and house of Representatives majority. Reason for this is that you are given the three ballot papers at the same time and most people don't know which paper is for president or senate so they thumb print one party all through to avoid mistakes. This is why Banky W was mistakenly booted out by a tout where LP won

Lol, of course Akpapio deserves it, we won't be needing it.
Moreover, Orji Uzo kalu is not one of our best, and won't give us the best representative.

We supported Peter Obi, not just coz he is from the East, but coz of his clean records in personal life and public service

Shut it! So u want us the electorates to concede senatorial seats to females just cos they r women, all this achieving gender equality is nonsense, u can't achieve gender equality by literally giving seats out to people cos they re females, they av to go thru d same democratic process like their male folks, to win a representation in d house that's how freedom and equality is achieved, maybe seats should be conceded to men for being men too 🤔

Umahi and his lackeys didn’t win any Senatorial seat in Ebonyi. LP won all the seats.

They LP candidates are going to court and let’s see what comes out of it.

Looking through d table and seeing that INEC put party names under gender column and gender type under party column and still went ahead to publish as official record shows how irresponsible and nonchalant they are as a commission

All those saying Senate president shouldn't come to the south East because we didn't vote Tinubu. Please keep it. We have not benefitted anything from it. The north has presidency and the senate. The south west has VP and house speaker, yet the south East with nothing are still here. The majority of Igbos ask for enabling environment to do their business, be it legal or illegal. Very few igbos are interested in politics compared to other regions, and we haven't seen the dividend. So please you can take your senate president from your mothers ass we Igbo's no send you.
