You're obviously attacking a strawman.
0n this thread, people criticised Rufai 0seni of Arise Tv on the ground of unethical media practices & bullying yet they don't have c0pies of his employment letter/contract.
I'm in my right to call 0ut the
injustice/incompetent & not water it down as pple wh0 knw road/shouting like Sowore.
You dey long this out unnecessarily

Let me break it down for you

Local mod is voluntary unpaid position as per your passion just like the travel guy who is passionate, but just like air.mark who is mod of music section and just dey cruise. You can feel free to apply for mod of sports section if you feel you have the time. We haven't had mod on ground since Ogbeche japa to Germany

You have one or two supermod who cover multiple sections, of which you don't know the level of contractual engagement and cant expect them to be abreast of every thread. That is the supermod of this section. Their engagement only comes when they are alerted to something, same as lalastic.lala and co. With Arise TV, we know their level of contractual engagement and what they are paid to do.

Feel free to apply if you want travel section level of scrutiny. Either you shout "We shall overcome". . . or you overcome by volunteering your time. Simples.

Once you know the set-up, you know that an absent Mod bans everyone they see in a fight without context, and to get it overturned, you simply make your case directly, rather than shouting "We shall overcome" to the wrong audience.

In 5years time he will be waxing thread about how girls are not loyal

I am against importing a woman or man unless you guys were married before relocating. If you are single focus on your settlement and pick from the girls in your new environment

You dey abroad and finding girl from Naija, the economic difference is enough motivation to make her misrepresent her character to you unless na Otedola daughters you dey marry

Some men sef wan use their newfound status carry woman wey dem no fit point to normally

Na him make Phillip that year dey go marry Ini Edo.

Common sense is not so common even among those you expect to know better.

Mark Essien will need to invent his own electoral law or amend the current one grin

You've to learn to be tolerant. However, you can find a non-religious person but that'll take time, and the probability of success is slim.

As for me, I've no issues with marrying a religious person with liberal views. My babe hardly prays.

It's an extremist I can't stand: The type that prays fervently and detests the pagans and the native cultures.

I can't tolerate those ones.

With time, I'd convince the lady I'm with to ditch religion completely.

But leading a godless life requires a high level of intelligence, courage, and mental strength, qualities that are rare.

Religious people fear ants, cockroaches, imaginary demons, spiritual attacks that are not real, hell and God's judgment that are not real, and fear to sleep in the dark.

They torment themselves with all sorts of funny ideas and myths.

So, I doubt she'll listen to me. I approach religious issues with the people close to me with extreme caution, especially the Muslims.

It's difficult to find a partner in Nigeria if you're not religious.

Na religious people full everywhere.

If you want to catch a monkey, na to behave like one.

The babe wey I dey with think say I be Muslim, but I don tell her from the beginning say too much religiosity is a no-no for me and my kids.

Fortunately, she no dey bother me about religious issues. I made my choice carefully.

The perfect partner for me would be someone with a background as a traditionalist (someone that knows ifa odu corpus well), understand Yoruba language deeply, and is trained in one of the sciences.

But they're hard to come by.

I even prefer a liberal religionist or humanist to an atheist or an agnostic like me because when some people discover that things like karma, God, heaven, and hell are pure human constructs, they tend to be wicked.

During my time in school, you must attain a certain CGPA before you can contest for any elective post. Infact for those of us that contested for President of departments and faculty, you are expected to be on minimum of second class upper before you buy form and contest.

Almost all the Presidents in my set (When I became President of my department association) finished with second class upper.

Infact my Gen Sec finished with First Class.

True. There was semblance of order throughout. Also you can only become President in 300l, they don't allow final year student to via for any post. cheesy

Thankfully we don't really have lecturers that are sadists at least not in my department else some of us results would've tanked. cheesy

My Gen Sec was always the one tackling our HoD whenever we have difference of opinion during meetings, the guy had straight A's back to back in our final year.

That is the problem with the states outside Lagos being complacent and not developing. What happens is a chain reaction

We ignore our states to focus on Lagos,
The state governor under develops the state since we dont care to hold him accountable,
All the young people with sense leave the state and head over to Lagos leaving the not so smart ones,
In 20yrs time, When its time to choose a governor. You either pick one of the undeveloped youths now grown into men in the state or go to Lagos to shop for a candidate befitting which you will likely get pushbacks from the locals saying he is disconnected from the realities of the state
He is truly disconnected from the realities on ground and brings Lagos or Abroad ideas which are not what the home state needs (like construction a flyover bridge in Gbongan)

Look at most governors all over Southern Nigeria, most of them either grew up or worked in Lagos when its time to contest they remember they are from Oyo, Edo Anambra state. After their tenure they return back to Lagos

I no dey joke with those ones. They can mess one's life up if one is naive.

Juju no dey, but some gifted people can manipulate people's dreams and mess them up psychologically.

When I was doing NYSC some years back, I had such an experience with a lady who is an Osun devotee.

That's one of the reasons why I can't be an atheist. You need more than merely saying "God doesn't exist" to survive in some parts of Yorubaland.

The dream world is another realm entirely. If one doesn't believe in God, doesn't belong to a cult or an occultic group, one must build up one confidence solidly in oneself (one's head) to be able to withstand some attacks in dreams.

It's all psychological. If one has no god, one must learn to depend on one's head.

Some humans can send their thoughts as waves to other people's heads while sleeping which the victim sees as a nightmare and could scare their heart and cause a heart attack for some, which they call a spiritual attack.

But it's all psychological, and we live in a vast soup of thought waves and waves generally.

Some of those traditionalists are not to be messed with.

When you've issues with some people, they'd come to your dreams to threaten you. But it's all a mere threat.

It depends on how his counting his attack, and the hardness of the target.

I won't be surprised if Nigerian built Web applications fail to implement basic brute force mitigation functions like account lockouts or captcha...this could expose them to protracted dictionary attacks, where each unsuccessful login attempt counted as an individual attack.

Nairaland.com only this year implemented basic catptcha, and I think only moved to cloudflare in 2014 or 15.

I would normally say the man was blowing smoke out his äss, but bro this is Nigeria - people are grossly incompetent and everything has rounded edges on account of all the corners that are consistently cut.

To become a politican you have to be street tested and rugged. Shey na you from Chevron or Zenith Bank wan sabi? That's why you end up recruiting some local thug OG to be your henchmen and you become beholden to them

Like how Seyi Makinde an Abroadian is suddenly having his balls held by Auxilliary a motor park tout who was convicted of murder

In our time at OAU as long as you are a student even if your GPA is 1.1 you are eligible.

Thats why when its time for exams, thats when SUG will think of an Aluta to organize
