Good morning Nairalanders, I once posted here about a real estate company I work with for over 2 to 3 years now and we've never had issues from the day I began work to the day I quited, they kept paying me same salary of 40k which was very small for me to even use for transportation and mind you I am the supposed manager of the company.

The whole issue started when I asked them to increase my salary to 80k cause.
1. I am the web developer
2. I am the secretary
3. I am the manager
4. I am the Social Media manager
5. I am the marketer.


The wife of the guy that owns the Real Estate Company sacked almost all the staff, remaining only me.

I worked with all my heart both in sun and in rain, so when I told them I was tired with the old salary, they flared up that they can't pay me 80k but 60k, I told them it's not enough to do anything, I travel 65KM everyday to work and back from Kurudu to Garki Area 2 in Abuja and using public transport costs around 1,200 daily and I go to work Saturday atimes.


She said I should come and drop the office key the next day, I went to drop the key and she began to talk and insult me that how her husband has helped me, me I betrayed them.

I told her her husband didn't do anything for me and sincerely except atimes that he will say 1k take and that's alike once in 3 weeks there's nothing Special he does for me and I do appreciate him, when he was celebrating his birthday I bought him a gift worth 40k my salary just to proof to them that it's not the salary that's sustaining me it's God.

This morning she and her driver called and started threatening me that they will deal with me, that her husband is a police officer that she will arrest me and lock me up forever.

Please what do I do, I have the recordings of all this conversation and I swear to God if we go to anywhere I didn't do anything bad to them for the 3 years I have worked there, they have never had reasons to scold or punish me I always do my job.

The last land they acquired costs about 40 Million I was the one that purchased it and worked the papers.

One of the reasons I stayed there for long was so I can gain real estate experience since I wanted to go into real estate later in the future.
