That's not the point. I know much about the education sector in Lagos state and how they always treat such cases. When parents write petitions against principal/headmaster sef, na big issue under Sanwwolu's government.

my own understanding is that coverings of your school books should be plain. in my day i used the white side of old calendars. for my pikin, i buy brown paper. as far as i can recall gaudy or distracting covers for books are frowned upon, much less politically partisan covers.

the harsh truth of the matter is that it is not the subsidy that is the problem - it is the abuse of the subsidy.

we have had this subsidy since forever - it was unfortunately under gej it ballooned an no one has taken the steps since then to correct it.

That removal of subsidy had nothing to do with Tinubu oga.
Buhari set it at that date not minding whoever won.
He just wasn't ready to deal with the repercussions of that decision even though it has already started showing up.
