Sanwo-Olu Set For Second Term, Wins 18 LGAs by gentleguy1975(op): 3:52pm On Mar 19, 2023
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading by a wide margin in the governorship election held in the state on Saturday.

Sanwo-Olu has won 18 out of the 19 LGAs declared so far while Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour won only one.

Only the results from the remaining local government, Eti-Osa, are being awaited. Election held in 10 polling units in the LG today while the results are still being collated.

So far, Sanwo-Olu has won in all the LGs except Amuwo-Odofin claimed by the LP candidate.

The LGs won by the Governor include Agege, Apapa, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Alimosho, Ikorodu, Somolu, Kosofe, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Mushin, Surulere, Ikeja, Ojo, Badagry and Oshodi-Isolo.

Also the results of the election showed that the LP lost all the local governments it won during the presidential election which gave it victory over the APC.

The collation has been adjourned till 5pm pending the arrival of the last LG results.

Congratulations to Sanwó! Although I love PO, I can't vote Gbadebo over Sanwó.

Someone who calls his fellow Yoruba man afonja.

Let us beware of whatever we want to post on social media as the internet never forgets. They used some of his comments on social media to campaign against him, believe it or not, a real Yoruba will never will never vote for him seeing those comments.

I have no problem with Sanwo Olu cos he's not doing bad in the state so he deserves second chance.
Mine major concern is that of presidential election.
Tinubu must returned the stolen mandate.

Some IPOBIANS if not many are irredeemable, the language speaking in Lagos is not Hausa, not Igbos or Kanuri, yet you called Lagos no man's land, chai... Yorubas this should be a lesson to you all, the way you gave out ILORIN AFONJA to Hausa Fulani and they all speak Yoruba FA.....what really affect Tinubu presidential votes is because of Muslim Muslim ticket.

Shame on Mr macaroni and toyin, they can now relocate to anambla.

An Ebonyi man can't go to Enugu for governorship contests but they want to impose it on Lagos.
