So with all the noise the Igbos made, they refused to vote Labour Party in Anambra - Peter Obi's state. Infact, Peter Obi lost his own constituency. So you guys refused to vote for LP in your state but you are pushing LP for Lagos state. And when LP gets rejected by Lagosians, you call it tribalism. I have never seen this level of hypocrisy in my life.

Who knew GRV a month ago. 99% of his voters had never heard his name one month ago, but you expected right thinking Lagosians to vote for him? This elections has exposed a particular tribe for whom they really are. An Igbo man will be president of Nigeria in future but I very much doubt it would be Peter Obi. I only blame the young and gullible Yorubas that voted for him and his hated-filled party. The young ones are always gullible so I cant blame them too much.

Such Hypocrisy.

Citizens of a region that does NOT allow their people to go out on Mondays, against their will, are on social media talking about being politically intimidated in Lagos.
The level of your disconnect is very trouble!

An Igbo can only be president if and only if:

1. Igbos believe in Nigeria they want to lord over.

2. Igbos accept and respect other ethnic nationalities

3. Igbos are ready to work with all ethic nationalities.

4. Present a non-tribalistic and non-religious sentimentalist. Someone who can go to mosques and pay homages to Imams to canvas votes. Someone who can equal go to churches to plead for votes and respect traditionalists equally.

5. Igbos do away with chest-beating and don't be haughty and cocky.

6. Do away with Biafra. You can't be clamoring for Biafra at the same time eye Nigerian presidency.

Igbos will still not get the message.

Onne port is working.... don't be too rigid, it's time to vacate the west.

Move your investments eastwards or southwards.

I really appreciate the Yorubas for being very "accommodating" all these while.

Now it's obvious that they are fade up and we too are fade up being accommodated it's time we move

Yet Tinubu is their problem. They have the worst performing governors but they don't mind. Mbadinudu, Ngige, Sam Egwu, Nnamani, Theodore Orji, Sullivan Chime, Ikpeazu, Achike Udenwa, Ugwuanyi, Okorocha, all did nothing for their 8 years in power, yet they kept on voting these people. They never look inwards and keep blaming others.

An Igbo friend from Enugu who has only lived in Enugu and Abuja was so fixated on Lagos elections. When I asked him what was going on in Enugu, Abia and Ebonyi, he said he didn't care. All he cares about was Lagos. He has never lived in Lagos for a day but he feels Sanwoolu was his biggest headache. Such bigotry and hypocrisy. Their eyes are fixated on Lagos and how to make it theirs.

I hope the olodo Yorubas that voted for Obi now know they made a huge mistake. However, I know that Jagaban and Sanwo will deal with them. This treachery should not be condoned.

What happened yesterday across the nation wasn't election.

I like Sanwo Olu as a person but can he beat his chest and say that he won in Lagos yesterday without feeling ashamed of the process?

They will be President in 2039 by my calculations. 8 years of Tinubu and then 8 years of the North. However, the person will be a moderate Igbo who will probably lose in Igbo land but win in other parts of the country. Infact, he will be an Igbo whom his people will reject. Because having these IPOB Nzogbu nzogbu mentality can never lead the Igbo anywhere.

They will be playing victim card for the next four years and insulting every other tribe; then 2 months before the election they will come seeking for votes. People where bullied online, cursed, maligned threatened etc. Some people were reported at the work places and even to immigration just because they did not support their candidate. How wicked can a group if people be. So if a person does not support your candidate, the person should stop existing? Na wah for these people o.

It was an agenda for Igbo presidency and they have lost. The intimidation and falsehood was too much. I told someone that the Obidient movement is more a cult than anything. Either you join them or they come for you brutally. You don't have a choice, you are not allowed to be passive. You are either fully obidient or you be cancelled.

They have no presence in the North, No presence in the South West, No Presence in the South South. They have 7 senatorial seats and 29 national assembly seats. And knowing who they are, most of these guys will jump ship to PDP. They probably will end up with one Governor who will eventually join APGA.

So at the end of the day, the obidients movement was just social media noise which is what we always knew it was.

They actually think everyone else is just stupid. I have heard some of the most absurd arguments during this election cycle and they used the media stations like Channels and AriseTV to spread their propaganda.

I think Yorubas should start boycotting those two stations. Channels is still better but AriseTV is very unprofessional. NBC will surely censure them. They spread false information and instigated bigotry especially that Rufai of a clown. These things wouldn't be forgotten quickly.

LP was not the problem. But the problem is Obi. He packaged the greatest scam in Nigeria’s political history. And he is not done yet, he is crying like Christmas goat from one TV station to another, begging for emotional support. Because he knows that going to court is a waste of time, money and other resources.

Seriously whenever I see igbos discussing politics offline,I give up on their warped psyche. They are very dumb when it comes to politics, they argue blindly while spreading fake news. So long as the fake news will make people pity them, they will nurture the fake news like their life depend on it. They are expert in playing the victim card to attract public sympathy. I stopped watching Afall abi na Arise tv for a long time now,I rather watch NTA than to watch Afall tv. Channels is still better, Tvc is ok, Ait dey try small.

You're too noisy. You didn't learn from the beginning that OBIDIENT was a political movement centred around PO rather than LP? You folks like shifting goal post. People are traditional voters, you don't expect a party PO brought spark to in about 8 months to do magic. The mistake he made after 25th February was trying to consolidate on the gains (sits won) not knowing it was a bandwagon effect (National Election). Going forward, the question are: will he remain in LP? Are Nigerians interested in mustering the kind of support again? If the answer is NO, then we are stuck with APC & PDP, or start again with another fresh party. However, with what played out this year, I doubt we will ever be able to recreate the same passion. The old guards won, and our national woes might continue. If anyone is tired, Jump ship. I don't see the spirit of brotherhood (across tribes or religion) ever soarer high in our political space again.
