Big brother is completely irrelevant in the scheme of things. Who cares if someone from wherever wins? The people in a part of Nigeria however did not allow people to vote based on their tribe. Let them deal with that injustice first before talking about how other nations treat them. At least this one affects us all, unlike big brother that won't affect my life in any way.

The production must have considered that as the most populated country in Africa, and the country with (most likely) the largest followership of the BB franchise, Nigeria has the power to sway the votes drastically in their favor. They made this move to subvert that possibility and perhaps give other African countries who also watch the show a chance to have their own say in the results.

On paper, it's not a terrible methodology. I just wish they had handled it better.

Revealing such an important detail about voting technicalities AFTER the results had already been shown and evictions had been done was a bit of douche move to be honest. The fans were completely blindsided and I don't blame those who insist it was rigged because the fact that we only got this information after eviction made it seem like a deliberate move to throw _shit in Nigerians' faces. Why weren't we told BEFORE the voting lines were opened on Monday Night? They clearly knew the route they'd take with the voting results and yet they failed to communicate it accordingly to general public.

At any rate, what is done is done. Its lucky that Kanaga Jnr managed to escape by the skin of his teeth. K-force will go back to the drawing board and restrategize. But if I'm being honest, it would be better to hope that he wins HOH today, cos if he's up next week and more than two are evicted...

...there will surely be tears.

If the VVIP and team members are wise, they should gather the money the want to purchase IUCs in other countries and present that Cheque to him. He'll appreciate it more. No matter how much resources and money they have to burn they can't penetrate 40 something countries a week to Finale. They should cut their loses and move on. It's all over.

Even you know that even without this voting restructuring that Kanaga would only be a first runner-up at best.

We blame our politicians and rulers for rigging and yet for a show that is supposed to just be for entertainment purposes, we have also become riggers and manipulators of the game.
