Amidst all the chaos, bigotry, violence and decadence was that Igbos finally woke up and permanently retired deadweights like Ikpeazu, Chimaroke, Ugwuanyi etc these are derelict who are part of the political class of Igbo leaders that have posed a cog in the wheel of progress for Ndigbo...and trust me more of this is coming. I'm particularly happy for my Abia people, God knows these people have suffered under the clutches of political elements like OUK, Theodore Orji, Ikpeazu etc who have held the state bondage for nearly ages, a new dawn has come in that state and I hope it goes well for them. I intentionally left out Umahi from this political class of failures cause he did very well for Ebonyi, yes maybe his rhetorics sometimes gave him out as someone who was misrepresenting the Igbo interest, but in hindsight when you look deeper...you will realize he was only playing national politics". I hope his successor builds on his successful foundation in Ebonyi, I'm hearing Nwifuru won Ebonyi which is good.

It now remains Imo state, all hands must be on deck to kick out Uzodinma this November when guber election starts in Imo, Uzodinma will prove a tough nut to crack as he's a very ruthless and efficient politician (we saw the handprints of his rigging in the just concluded House of Assembly election in Imo, APC won 25 out of 27 HOA in Imo 🤣). I'm confident if a strong opposition candidate emerges on the LP or APGA ticket for Imo, we will rally behind him to take back power from Uzodinma come November.

In all, this election from a South East perspective, was a much needed breath of air for so many reasons.

In all honest, it will be difficult to oust Hope Uzodinma from that seat comes off season election because it has stamp his feet in Imo politics despite coming from behind to be Imo governor.

Difficult YES but not IMPOSSIBLE, it will all depend on the people of Imo state to get serious with their grassroot politics and align with one strong candidate, give him all the support and start on time (and I mean now) to raise awareness on the need to vote out Uzodinma at all cost, it won't be easy- of course politics is never easy, but Uzodinma is just one man, he can't take on the people when they decide to kick him out.

As long as Soludu remains, I am happy.

You have to take cognizance of APC HOA elect 25 out of 26 expected member of the parliament in March 18, 2023 and come November 2023 cum with power of incumbency. Also remember that all thugs are in their payroll.

Soludo is still our own, apart from his running mouth, which is born out of jealousy, he hasn't stepped a foot wrong

You are right.

And with what happened in this election, it would be difficult before any elected official in Igboland would openly and unabashedly stand against the collective interest of Ndigbo like some of them like Chimaroke and co have done in recent times.
