You said sometime ago and I qoute "The black race is much less intelligent than the other races. That's a fact".
Should I understand your belief of the intellectual inferiority of our race to be based on religion alone?

is it preposterous to believe that we have such level of religiousity because of our economic situation and not the other way around? Religion is the opium of the masses after all.

Do you believe under ideal economic and social conditions people will be less inclined to be religious?
Your questions are not well framed, though they're thoughtful.

About your first question, religion isn't the only factor, but it's a key factor.

Intelligence isn't a racial thing. But the brain, the seat of intelligence, can be affected by one's environment among other factors.

The environment affects the brain development.

This is the main issue with the majority of Africans. When raised in a healthy environment, an African can be as intelligent as any other race, but on this continent, the environment limits how most people (there are few exceptions) use their brain due to the superstitious beliefs, religions, poor infrastructure, poverty, and other factors.

This is why the black race (majority of which are on this continent) is less intelligent than other races. It's not a genetic thing but as a result of the environment and the frequency and level of using the brain.

Mentally tasking subjects such as philosophy, mathematics, programming, science sharpen the brain, and it's not a coincidence that we've much more great achievers in those fields in the First-World countries and some parts of Asia and very few from Africa.

Africans that relocate to saner climes (and the West usually select the few highly intelligent ones) often become achievers in their field.

About the second question: "is it preposterous to believe that we have such level of religiousity because of our economic situation and not the other way around?"

It's both. Most poor people that are religious in Nigeria engage in religion because of their current situation.

Most of those people will reduce (and they often do) their religious activities when things get better for them or if they relocate to the West where they don't have to pray for basic things the government should do.

Some people are religious despite not being poor because they fear God will afflict them with poverty and sickness if they turn their back on him.

So, it goes in both ways.

Whether native or foreign, religions generally are meant for mind control and keeping people in check.

People lead good life without being religious, and many have done so in history, so it's not a necessity.

Religions are mental programmings and personal philosophies of early humans on this planet.

About the last question: Ideal conditions are not achievable on this planet. Hence, I believe there will always be religious people (not necessarily Christians and Muslims) among us now and in the future.

However, I believe with time as science develops (if it develops well) and keeps making breakthroughs, and humans are able to solve the problems on this planet with increasing success using science and technology, the number of religious people will keep reducing.

At some point in the future, I believe the scales will tip in the favor of the irreligious.

Kano State with 44 LGAs has already declared the winner of the Governorship elections.
Kaduna with 23 LGAs has also declared.
Lagos with 20 LGAs as well.
But Abia and Enugu cannot declare. They have 17 LGAs each.
With less than 2M total registered voters each.

"The thing that happened in VGC on Saturday is probably the best example of INEC's complicity in voter suppression."

'No group of thugs would be able to access VGC, so moving all the estate's PUs to the highway without informing them was basically a way to give thugs access."

You shouldn't read my posts and feel downgraded. If you feel so, perhaps there's some truth in the posts then.

Or you simply ignore the posts if they don't apply to you.

I served in Dave Umahi hometown (Uburu), the people are lovely except when you go close to their women. 😂 Corpers don show their ladies pepper so their guys were a lil overprotective.

I think Ebonyi Igbo language is also different from the normal Igbo language, if I remember correctly Uburu and Okposi, the town close to where I am speak different version of the language and they are both in the same local govt.

Their woman are so hardworking and surprisingly it’s their men that are lazy (at least those I come in contact with in the town I was posted to)
This one na fact. You don't need to carry out studies for this one. I stayed at Ezzagu and was surprised too.

Tinubu won't win the primaries
Buhari is working against Tinubu
Tinubu is sick has been rush abroad
Tinubu pee on his body
Tinubu's MM ticket is to islamize Nigeria
The North will not vote for Tinubu
Buhari will not campaign for Tinubu
The cash crunch is to make Tinubu lose
Tinubu wont be declared the president-elect.
Obi won with 21 million votes
The process is not excellent so the election should be annulled
I won and I'm going to prove it have turn to I didn't win but I want the candidate who won disqualified.

In all your propaganda and lies,

you've consistently been disgraced.

Your desperation beclouds your reasoning. From 6 million votes at the presidential to less than 1 million votes at gubernatorial. You don't see your party dying all because you're fixated on claiming a mandate you can NEVER win.

What a pity?

Copied

That's what I told Emaprince yesterday and I hope unlimited was cleared too, if they are truely ignorant of how Naija politicians play their cards.

No Governor in Naija won in a free and fair election, devoid of malpractices. I even fear those faking to be saints among them. Packaged scams.
You dont need to tell me anything. You never was active on this thread BTW. If you were, you would have seen few of my post where I Condemned fighting because of a politician.

They only issue we have been having here lately is the tribal slurs and inflammatory posts which many people on this thread are guilty of.

Nigeria will be good but it may not be in our lifetime.

If you get the opportunity, Japa my brother. I have only experienced power failure once in 10 years and it was for about 10 minutes. I don't lock my doors for my kids to come in after school, even when nobody is at home. Public schools are free so no worries for school fees.
No hold up for roads. I just filed for taxes and the government gave back a refund of almost $8000. I can vote for my candidate here without intimidation and everybody dey respect each other wella. If you have the opportunity, Japa my broda.

I have a lot of people reaching out to me who are doing very well in Nigeria, some are doctors and others have good landed properties. You will be surprised how desperate people want to get out. A lot of our leaders do not even believe in Nigeria and they send their kids abroad.

Sometimes, them say e go better, e go better, na hin labalaba take dey enter inside bush.
