Meanwhile over 70% of our budget is funded by federal allocations with NOTHING to show forth for it.

People are being owed salaries and pensions in YEARS, not months. Meanwhile in my alma mater in the same state you can't write exams without school fees, because at a point government funding dried up and the VC at the time had to source for IGR to keep school running.
Aba is less than an hour away from Port Harcourt yet that journey can take you 6 hours on a lucky day if it's in the rainy season.
Aba has the potential to be the manufacturing and even commercial hub of both the SS and SE but even market can't be gotten right.
