By implication, shipping goods from China to Lagos with Lagos Seaport is very far than shipping goods from China to Oseakwa Ihiala, using the Seaport at Urashi Ihiala Anambra state.

It also implies that Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Rivers, Delta, Edo, Beyelsa, Benue, Kogi and Akwa-ibom business men living in Lagos will find it easy to have their business in south- East, South-south and North Central by using Oseakwa seaport when and if it’s dredged.

This deep seaport will create over two million jobs, directly and indirectly, in marine business, oil and gas, power, education, housing, agro-food industry, entertainment, tourism, etc.

Uzodima has recently awarded a contract to dredge the oguta river to connect to the Atlantic ocean the distance is also less than 30 nautical miles. The south east was never a landlocked region it was the wicked nigeria's politics against anything igbo that actually created that impression.

This is wonderful! I hope he follows up the project!! South East desperately needs a functional Seaport. This is what I expect all Igbo Governors to focus on

Whatever.... So long it's South East or even South South.... We need our own Seaport so Lagos can be decongested.... I expect our Governors to look into this.

if port Harcourt seaports is fully operational; then onitsha and lokoja ports will be receiving vessels by Berges
This will improve the economy of the SE SS and NC at large

I have not been to Ose Akwa before but I know where Anambra state is geographically located is not that close to Atlantic Ocean.
