Ibime:Which Roots? The classic Alex Haley Kunta Kinte? |

A001:I swearoGod, you're not sounding like an educator, I'm literally asking you to indulge what you think is my foolishness, rather than rain abuses. Explain your points better. Yes I agree, I am very stupid, I am ignorant, I am senseless. Now can you make coherent points as to what it means to be "African"? Or how our identities affect us personally or the role in our lives? Remember that I used Ibime as a perfect example of my point. A successful man of Nigerian roots, immigrated to UK, married to a Canadian spouse (false I know), have children who are born in UK and have divergent origins. Please what exactly is the practicality of ibime's "African" identity? He's most likely irreligious, he most likely doesn't give a damn about "old traditions and ancient practices" or observe any "traditional days". And these things barely have a relevance in his life,so please using Ibime as an example, can you tell me the practicality of his "roots"? Please don't insult my naivety. yes I agree I am stupid and an idiot, now can you please educate my ignorance, thanks. |

Ibime:My dad had the book and I read it when I was like 13-14. Then NTA showed it twice in the 90s and 2000s |

DontBullshitMe:I remember watching Homeland in one hotel room in Auchi when I was still an Ajala. It was really good. Sometimes I wonder why its difficult getting quality TV shows these days that are as good as the ones we used to watch. |

Donjazet2:Just say these things among your Ibo brothers. They'll educate you. Your fellow Ibos are in a better position to educate you, not me. I'm on Nairaland to interact with others and learn from other members, especially the highly intelligent ones. I've said enough on this discussion. |

@Larride, what is the economic reason behind that Kano to Niger republic railway project? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 9:03pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
A001:Let me get this straight, are you saying that after the numerous abuses you have rained on me, you yourself have no idea what you're talking about?? So you're an empty chest beater? All noise and no substance?? Anyone who tries in the least beat to engage your points is met with fierce abuse and in the end you're actually a heavy John snow, you know nothing?? Then from what vantage point are you throwing abuses? What is the aim of your insults when you say, "ohh, this person is low IQ, this person is ignorant"? You that is enlightened, how come you can't make any intellectual point of note but always want to avoid debates when engaged?? So what is the point of your noise here?? You make noise about Africa Africa Africa, meanwhile when asked about it, you can't deliver anything? Even an empty barrel will not be as loud as your head when knocked. You actually have no right to insult anyone when you know nothing. Abeg shift. You are useless! |

Nostradamus1:Why are you going through the corners? You nor fit talk to me direct? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Alaye, it may seem as if you want to be transferring the aggression you felt of having your alter account seemingly busted on me oh. Better calm down. All you're just doing at this point is, at best, projection. You easily want to believe Chude is a criminal and to keep on using the tag on him without being confronted? I swear, make I nor just use the expletives wey I get for mind on you because you've been reasonable/civil for the most part. If you're expecting me to go to the police station requesting for the case file to prove there's no crime, HAVE YOU SEEN the case file yourself to conclude that he committed a crime? Yes, as at yesterday when I quoted you, he has not been charged to court, and I clearly mentioned that it was as far as I know. There are people close to him dropping updates about him on Twitter. So calm your fuvking balls sac. You're annoyingly annoying. Shamelessly annoyingly and absurdly annoying. Infact, you're playing at being obtuse deliberately. Nigga, whaaaaat?? Like you do not know that the NPF indiscriminately keep people locked up, for MANY DAYS, not stating their crimes, not allowing them see anybody and not charging them to court? Are our forces suddenly the epitome of doing things the right way? Why are you tryna spin that on me, like I'm ignorant or something? Is mentioning that fact a wrong?? What led to me mentioning that fact was my asking you if "cyberstalking" wasn't a bailable offense. Then you said his lawyers should raise alarm if he has been held for more than 48hrs, and I told you exactly that. He's neither been charged nor been released, but has been held in custody since Saturday. And yes, I got it from the Internet!!!! The. Same. Way. Everything. You. Believe. About. This. Matter. Is. From. The. Internet. It might seem as if you're the sitting room analyst here, and an armchair philosopher on the side. Radarada. Iranu. |

Donjazet2:Lols, you don't have to tell me I'm useless now. Once you said African history is useless, you've said all Africans are useless already including yourself. That's why I said you should tell your fellow Ibo brothers that African history is useless. They'd educate you. Even to utter all these foolish things you're saying here offline among your fellow Ibos will be difficult. Which kind of person says the history of his people is useless and the culture of his people is barbaric if not a lunatic? I won't be engaging you further. |

raumdeuter:Yeah my first watch was on NTA, then I watched again in the 2000s, then watched the modern day remake which came out about 7 or 8 years back, and I also ended up visiting the village of Juffre on my travels |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 9:16pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
A001:Notice how in all your posts today, you are actually yet to drop a single point that can be deemed intellectual in any capacity? Like, you keep highlighting and disagreeing with my point about the word "African" being basically useless (of no practical use) and even going further to draw negative inferences about it (African history being of no use does not equate all Africans being useless or me being being "afrophobia", whatever that means), yet you are yet to make a logical point to counter my point. How exactly does that work? |

Donjazet; Buhari is a useless person. A001, such a stupid thing to say. Guy you are ignorant and a low IQ person, saying Buhari is useless is saying all Nigerians are useless. You are a bigger evil for having that kind of mentality. Donjazet; okay I agree, I am stupid and ignorant for thinking that Buhari is useless, now can you educate me on how you think buhari is a useful person and his practically to my life? A001, you are a bloody murderer for calling all nigerians useless. I dont have your time, go and meet other nigerians and see if you can tell them that buhari is useless to their faces. Donjazet; can you at least make any point as to how buhari is useful? Just one at least. A001, getat, I don't have your time. Rinse and repeat. |

Be using faux-intellectualism to mask your lack of judgement or sense of justice/good and bad. Eish. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't speak up on all the kinds of intimidation below and more from those in power. "It's whataboutism," my ass 🤡.

Eazzii:.can you elucidate your question, I don't understand it. Is what just African history? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 9:23pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
This one no get brain. You said the history of a people (over 1.4 billion of them) is useless, but the people whose lives, cultures, and values constitute the history aren't useless. I guess the useless history you're talking about dropped from heaven then. Out of all the continents in the world, it's only the history of Africa that's useless. Lunacy on display. Come here and be shouting tribalism all about tomorrow while believing that "African history is useless", "African cultures should be abolished". |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 9:27pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
So dull, I don't know when Buhari became the name of a country. Buhari isn't even the permanent president of Nigeria. Imbe. Instead of preaching his lunatic messages to his fellow Ibos in his surroundings, he dey waste time on Nairaland. It's a lunatic I'd be educating on Nairaland. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Nobody: 9:36pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
Donjazet2:You said something about African history being useless so I'm curious as to if you think it's just African history or that of other continents/the world at large. Thank you. ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 9:44pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
Eazzii:When I say African history is useless, I don't use that word in the derogatory sense. I'm using it literally, as in, in the literal sense that it serves no purpose to our modern world. And yes, that includes other continents history too. It's why you see conservatives urging black people to move on from the terrible history of the past. Not to keep dwelling on what has happened previously. For them to join hands and build a more peaceful coexisting society. That's similar to what I'm saying, irrespective of what or who we were before, it makes no relevance to what our future can be as "Africans". And I'm particularly pointing out that the word "Africa" is largely superficial because it is a simply a product of physical geography and nothing else. The people in Africa are as different as could be and have no common purpose or shared history. I don't know if you understand? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by stxrlight(f): 9:47pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
raumdeuter:You're assuming he has the kind of sins our regular politicians have. There are good and responsible, law-abiding individuals who come from a morally decrepit family. That some member(s) of a family is/are (a) criminal(s) doesn't mean other people in the family are actual criminals ... P.S. I'm not saying Otti is a saint. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 9:49pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
A001:As usual. Zero substance. Always abuses to whoever engages him. You want to appear intellectual. But you are absolutely empty upstairs. You have nothing up there. I have never ever seen you engage in deep arguments with anyone about anything. It's always abuses and abuses. The funniest shit is seeing you always type "you guys are low IQ, i don't have your time". ![]() How will you have time when you have nothing to give? Someone is literally begging you to avoid insults and make your points only to find out, YOU FVCKING HAVE NO POINTS TO MAKE! ![]() |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 9:51pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
Africans should develop collective amnesia and forget their history for whatever reason you said. But the Americans, the Europeans, the Asians, the Australians, and all other peoples should preserve their own history. All these other continents spend billions of dollar annually to preserve their history and culture. Nothing dey this one's brain. If you forget and lose your history as a people, you're dead. Imbe |

airmark:Trade. Niger republic is a landlocked country, they route all their importation to Cotonou (If I’m not mistaken) and then use trucks to move it to Niger. Lagos to Ibadan train has been completed. The Lagos end of the rail line has been connected to Apapa port, Ibadan government and the FG were suppose to develop a dry seaport (I don’t know the level of work on the dry seaport). Immediately after commissioning the Lagos to Ibadan line, work began on the Ibadan to Kano phase. So the idea is to encourage Niger to import their goods through Lagos port and then use rail to move it from Lagos to Maradi in Niger republic. |
