When I say African history is useless, I don't use that word in the derogatory sense. I'm using it literally, as in, in the literal sense that it serves no purpose to our modern world.

For them to join hands and build a more peaceful coexisting society.

Trade.

Niger republic is a landlocked country, they route all their importation to Cotonou (If I’m not mistaken) and then use trucks to move it to Niger.

Lagos to Ibadan train has been completed. The Lagos end of the rail line has been connected to Apapa port, Ibadan government and the FG were suppose to develop a dry seaport (I don’t know the level of work on the dry seaport). Immediately after commissioning the Lagos to Ibadan line, work began on the Ibadan to Kano phase.

So the idea is to encourage Niger to import their goods through Lagos port and then use rail to move it from Lagos to Maradi in Niger republic.
