So you are wiser than does SANS that filled it? Tilumbu is a gonner.
Go back and read that section 137 from the beginning very well

You are clearly daft. SANs don’t lose cases? Who’s lost Atiku,s case in 2019? Na charge and bail file Oyetola’s case against Adeleke? I swear you people have serious issues.

What you need to do is 1) go for adult education classes in English and fast for 40 days for common sense.

A man who leaves the collation center after just 1 state leaves because he knows he has lost. A man protesting on the streets and the media while having the same case pending in court is doing so because he knows he has a weak case or no case and is trying to whip up sentiment.

If you are confident of victory and your polling agents info show you have won, you won’t do Orubebe style and walk out. If you know you have a good case you won’t have need to public sentiment and protests because you are still coming to govern the country no be so? When you are bringing up a case that is 30 years old when the law clearly states anything over 10 yrs is irrelevant, it is because you have no case. When your case I’d to try to disqualify the winner after the election using sentimental arguments not legal arguments in a court of law it is clear you know it is a sucide mission and you are only playing to the gallery. Let me make it clear Obi himself knows he has no case, everything he is doing is a facade to appeal to his very dense supporters…..that’s all!!!

When you see someone having to brag it is because they are insecure, from the woman who won’t stop telling you she is beautiful to the man who won’t stop trying to show you he is rich to the man who keeps protesting in public while the matter is in court. Let me give you a life lesson…. Real Confidence does not shout!

Go and read section 137(1)d, and stop fooling yourself CornFused man, there is no time frame regarding the petition Obi filled, Tinubu was fined in the US,and that disqualified him

Like I said you are daft and nothing but an educated illiterate. It is a shame you read but don’t understand….. that is the sad reflection of products of the Nigerian education system.

Let me educate you: what 137(1)d states is that as at the time of the election, any sentence or must have been served.

What d& e mean together is that a contestant must not have been convicted for an offense in the last 10 years and any sentence for any offense in the previous 10 years must have been served as at the time of an election. If you were convicted for an offense in the previous 10 years you must have completed your sentence. If you actually had any brains section 137(1)d would have pointed you in the direction that people who have been convicted can actually run for office so long as they have served their sentence. This is not to say Tinubu was convicted, just to highlight the futility and true purpose of bringing up a matter 12 SANs know will be dismissed immediately. No matter what is contained in the documents, it happened over 10 years ago. From a legal point of view it is irrelevant, if they like let it be 10000 pages. You clearly don’t know how lawyers work. A lawyer will advise his client but will do what the client says even if he knows the client won’t win.

This is exactly why foreign countries require Nigerian students to take English proficiency exams. We don’t understand English despite the fact that we supposedly speak English.

Rubbish! Something that will be dismissed by the court. Many Obidients are potential failure, that was how they were dancing about ANAP and BANTUPAGE polls before their hopes were dashed. They don't like hearing the truth, just keep deceiving and lieing to them if you want them to be happy; that's how they are wired. However, for some of us who don't dwell in lies to give them their foods, we are their enemies. They will soon begin to abuse court now that they have been bribed by Tinubu. He should even go and laminate it and give it golden frame before approaching the court, he will carry it back home to use as firewood when it is totally dismissed. Happy labouring in vain, obidients!

Even if it is true that was over 20yrs ago besides the Case has been closed with a letter from The US gov to show for it. Also remember he was not convicted or found guilty in any court in the US.Constitutionally the case will be thrown out as dead on arrival. The constitution gives a specific period of 10yrs before an election and not indefinite.

So because I don't think like you or support a drug lord I be Ipob abi? So all the 6 states in SW all support Tinubu because he's yoruba? Eshinshin brain 🧠. Obj don't support BAT does that mean he's not a Yoruba? Afenifere? Falz etc. Are they of other tribe? Be there thinking like that then your parents just wasted money to raise you as a child.

Jesus wept! I just castigated you for your poor understanding of English you double down. Like I said your problem and that of many like you is English….. you do not know what “Under sentence” means. If you do, everything else is irrelevant. “Under sentence” means you have not served your jail time, not paid your fine or not been killed if you were sentenced to death. Have you ever heard the legal term “completed his sentence”? When you are sentenced you have a burden to carry out either jail time fine etc. Until you serve your jail time or pay the fine, you are under the burden of the sentence…..hence the term “under sentence”. Once you serve your jail time or pay your fine you are no longer under the burden of the sentence..hence no longer under sentence! I tire for educated illiterates!

Like I said if you read d and e together you would realize you are making a fool of yourself and embarrassing your English teachers. Why would section e allow someone who was convicted over 10 yrs ago to contest for office if by definition a convict is sentenced? Your brain did not engage there? Why bother with section 137(1) e if 137 (1)d has already excluded anyone who was convicted because to be sentenced you have to be convicted. Your brain no alert you?

Whatever our disagreements on this issue take me seriously when I say you have a fundamental problem with English. English is your medium of communication, if you don’t understand what you are really saying, what you read or what others are truly saying, you are not communicating. You are the sort of slowpoke that spent energy on Bihari’s school certificate when the constitution expressly says it is not needed…..it is only a minimum qualification. Educated Nigerians who don’t understand the meaning of “minimum”!!!!! I swear educated Nigerians have a big problem with English.

Whatever section they want to use now has already been exhausted in 1999. Don't forget it was the federal government and pdp that was taking tinubu to Supreme court. They needed Lagos badly but it still did not fly. Anyways nothing for Peter obi because Atiku is still second. No fresh election will be held rather a referandum or complete degeneration to anarchy. Let me add one point you have failed to see, assuming tinubu was Disqualified which I doubt, no election may be held in the southwest. The grassroots interpretation of such a Supreme court pronouncement will be very unfavourable for any Ibo that hopes to vote in any southwest state.
KillerCrocodile:

That clause that said after 10 years in the Constitution is part E

That is not what the opposition are using against thiefñúbû

They are using Part D of the same section of the Constitution against thiefñúbû

That section clearly states that if you have been fined for being dishonest, you are not fit to be president of Nigeria

Go and Verify that section of the Constitution

That single act disqualified him. Go back and read that section 137(1)d again the second sentence Thier.
An ex convict can no apply for certain job. That is what that section explained, Tinubu was fined in this case for dishonesty or fraud. So he can never apply to be President no matter what. Now fucck off since u are brain dead to understand what have explained to you like a 5year old kid.
