idealogical:Are you normal? Obi submitted CTC of the court judgement on Tinibu drug business and his forfeiture of £360000 and you are showing me letter from US embassy here in Nigeria. As 2003 this document has not been made public. The letter you are talking of is invalid in the face of certify True Copy of the court's judgement. |

Eniitankorede:The mistake you guys are making is the so called letter from the embassy here in Nigeria, let Mr Tinubu travel down to the United States of America and go and get sane fro the state of Chicago Illinois were the issue took place not from some embassy staffs in Nigeria. |

WantsandMore:Did Orji Kalu not endorse Tinubu? Did OBJ not endorsed Buhari? Why is OBJ endorsing PO now an issue? |
| Re: D by a4cube: 6:38am On Mar 25, 2023 |
I thought Obi's petition also involved Chicago University or University of Chicago. Why is everybody fixzated on the drug case. If the University is coming to testify they will come with the original documents he used to apply for the admission which I believe will include his DOB, Place of Birth, Birth Certificate, Record of Primary and Secondary School attended and Results obtained, Name of Parents. This petition will open a lot of things about our " president elect". |

DoTheNeedful:You just want to be obstinate... READ D AGAIN. It is a stand alone or fine for any offence involving dishonesty or fraud (by whatever name called) or for any other offence, imposed on him by any court or tribunal or substituted by a competent authority for any other sentence imposed on him by such a court or tribuna |
| Re: D by a4cube: 6:42am On Mar 25, 2023 |
idealogical:So if you are one of Tinubus defence lawyer, you will print this flyer to present to the judges in court as evidence that Asiwaju wad not convicted.😃😀 |
| Re: D by Toks2008(m): 6:45am On Mar 25, 2023 |
idealogical:English is your problem. Tinubu forfeited $460,000 or fine for any offence involving dishonesty or fraud (by whatever name called) or for any other offence, imposed on him by any court or tribunal or substituted by a competent authority for any other sentence imposed on him by such a court or tribuna

surgical:Yes just like APC deputy gov of Bayelsa that was disqualified after they won the election in 2019. |
| Re: D by udeh3(m): 7:02am On Mar 25, 2023 |
LandMann:This should be the case if he himself have acknowledge it or filled it when the form was given him. Like, any criminal record before? Don't forget one of the prayers is falsification of information/record provided. So, they might be coming from different angles The prayers look simple, but there are very serious technicality involved, especially, when dealing with smart dude like Obi |
| Re: D by udeh3(m): 7:07am On Mar 25, 2023 |
idealogical:I'm just hearing now from you that one can just pay a fine of this hugh amount when not convicted or guilty as plea bargain... Or you don't understand the value of that amount over 20yrs ago |
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 7:22am On Mar 25, 2023 |
IVORY2009:You are ignorant. The US is not Nigeria. Read the letter they sent to the police and you will see the extent of their investigation. |
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 7:24am On Mar 25, 2023 |
DMerciful:You are just plane ignorant. So many courts have tried him on this case, from Gani Fawehinmi to EFCC etc have taken him to court. He won in all cases. The fact of the matter is hidden from obi followers. Lawyers must eat anyway. |
| Re: D by PureFace1(m): 7:38am On Mar 25, 2023 |
Novarisammy2:Go and research Civil forfeiture in the United State before commenting. Civil asset forfeiture laws allow police to seize property, money, or assets if police merely believe it is connected to criminal activity. Police do not have to file charges or even establish guilt in these cases before seizing and keeping property and there is no limit to what police can seize. In addition, these seizures often take place in instances where law enforcement have engaged in discriminatory profiling people of color and other minorities (e.g., traffic stops, airport searches, and train searches).

KanwuliaExtra:Tinubu was never convicted. |
| Re: D by DMerciful(m): 9:44am On Mar 25, 2023 |
Gani's case was certificate forgery...not drugs. Even at that, there're new evidences Eniitankorede: |
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 12:39pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
DMerciful:There is no new evidence. The Americans are not stupid. They keep all records and will not lose sight of anything within human possibility. They had written since 2007 that there’s no records of criminal convictions, indictments, fines etc against Tinubu. But your lawyers must eat. It’s time to cash out on Obi. |
| Re: D by Toks2008(m): 6:08pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Eniitankorede:You are mixing things up. He has never been tried in Nigeria court concerning his drug dealings but it was about the forgery of certificates |
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 6:23pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Toks2008:Yes because no lawyer dares go to court for something already decided in a US system. And after seeing the letter from US embassy that represents the government and agencies of government. Any lawyer going to court is wasting his time and money. |
| Re: D by Toks2008(m): 6:27pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Eniitankorede:He paid a fine after he was indicted as a bagman(keeper of drug proceed) in the heroine business. Now go back and read D as posted by the OP. There is every likelihood that he will be disqualified having paid a fine by virtue of forfeiture in a drug(criminal case)
|
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 6:34pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Toks2008:I have already replied the ignorant OP. Nobody can settle out of court or plea bargain in a drug case. He must go to prison. Tinubu was not convicted nor fined. This is a wild goose chase. |
| Re: D by Toks2008(m): 8:39pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Eniitankorede:You keep arguing. Forfeiture is a way America deals with drug cases. It is an admittance of guilt without the stress of going to court.
|
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 10:13pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Toks2008:That is a lie. Forfeiture is always after conviction. The drug convict goes to jail and then forfeits the property and money, this is called proceeds of crime. Many of you are not enlightened. |
| Re: D by Toks2008(m): 10:24pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Eniitankorede:No point arguing with you. Believe whatever you want if it will make you sleep well at night. Cheers |
| Re: D by Eniitankorede: 5:22am On Mar 26, 2023 |
Toks2008:You can’t argue with me because you don’t know. |
