see, I am an old nairalander, I know the words Igbos use to insult Yorubas back then such as tiger scratched faces, mgbati mgbati, ofe.mmanu, etc, those words almost don't exist anymore...few new ones like afonja came up..

but u see Yorubas, those insulting words they used then like fla.theads,ya.mleggs,flatin.os,nya.miri,landlocked region etc are still being repeated as though fresh everyday here.
New ones like sad east,afghameastern,cannibals,Igbo,osu, poto poto region,,ojuiku, shukudi,yam.legs,sad beast,ye.ast,baby factory etc are invented...

I am an OG on Nairaland as well. I signed up in 2007 and deactivated my account and have returned at different times and deactivated again. The bolded never went away. They have always been used. OSU is not new on Nairaland. It has always been here since the days Igbos started calling Yorubas dirty,and all other insults and slurs.

All you are doing here is just still claiming victim, now that lots of Yorubas are now dishing it out with the same ferocity igbos have been dishing slurs out unhindered for several years. Only difference is that Igbos are now being overwhelmed and are crying foul. The unrest in the south east and the rate at which Igbos are pushing powder have all but given most tribes (and not just Yorubas) the ammunition they need to payback Igbos in their own coins.

If you watched the video, just under the link you posted, they are very angry because an Ibo man insulted the Oba of Benin and Benin people. They have every reason to be angry.

This is proof that Yorubas are very Liberal. Ibos insult Yorubas everyday and even our royal father's are not left out of the dragging, but we still maintain our cool.
