Amandla Stenberg and some bunch of spoilt kids took us on a torrid ride of who killed who. I've never seen a horror movie with no suspense music. Sixteen minutes in, i was like what the fùck is going on? After enduring a drab lesbian kissing scene involving amandla and her submissive white friend. In real life, she's fucking gay, no dicks attached.

Big ups I'll give to this show is how they took time on every character including side characters and even the assassins, they took time to focus on their relationship.

The bad guys tho, they were too sloppy.
You don't use someone that can be connected to you to plant a bomb on a Metro.
What's worse, you don't inform that person about the involvement of the Vice-President.

It felt too sloppy. Also the way they handled Peter was sloppy. They gave him so much free reign to investigate even when he kept getting closer and closer. He should have been taken care of way sooner

For the most part the show was really fun to watch, even with some of the inconsistent behavior. Definitely worth watching

I wonder how season 2 will go. Peter already has his face so publicly known...so him being on the field as a night agent...
I'm not sure how well it will go...
He can't even act as a spy at this point...unless the public doesn't know his name has been cleared up

Shadow and Bones season 2 is 7.5/10 for me.
Totally enjoyable and entertaining series, this is what we call a real fantasy series.
The last episode was kind of sad though, i like the fact that they didn't just explore magic and war alone. They explore love, friendship, loyalty and sacrifice and above all trust.

After all they fought for, after all the journeys and loses and sacrifices. Evil still ended up sitting on the throne 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I will say the series ended on a sad Note.
I can't wait for season 3 to see what happens Next.
I hope it's not what i am thinking because the lady was now becoming fan favourite.

Anyways the series kind of reminds me of legend of the seeker.
Very similar in some ways, from the female mordsits who worked for darkened Raul to mother confessor and to seeker.
If you have seen the season 2 of shadow and bones then you will see the similarities with legend of the seeker.

Black bird: 8.5

A fantastic miniseries with amazing acting and directing.

Even though many scenes between Jimmy Keene and Larry Hall had heavy dialogue, they are still compelling to watch because of the tight dialogue, great acting and line delivery by Paul Walter and Taron Egerton.

And kudos to the director for knowing how to pull off those scenes without tiring his audience.

Spoiler:
It’s really fascinating that Larry Hall, who was supposed to have little IQ, could pull off those murder and still play mind games with the cops for so long.

End of spoiler.

Paul Walter Hauser who played the Larry Hall character should be winning an Emmy for that performance.

I hope to find more hidden gems like this.

Peter was given free pass to investigate because the chief of staff underestimated him. She never believed he would get that close to the truth
