Convenant knew before they allow Jamb to use their center as CBT that all religion from all walks of life will probably be posted to the center to write exam, if Convenant is not tolerant enough to allow a simple hijab which is basically a head covering to come into their center to write a national exam, then they have absolutely no right to be used as a center.

I don’t even know wearing hijab is now an offense. It reeks of intolerance by Convenant. End of.

The major issue here is that JAMB did not equip these CBT centers but posted people who paid to JAMB there to write exams. Yet JAMB expects these institutions to relax their rules/regulations/conducts to allow students who would not comply with the institution's rules to write exam in their premises. The thing dey somehow.

I think the only way out is for JAMB to not use these faith-based institutions for such exams going forward.

Na true sha, During my service year NYSC decamped a Deeper Life lady who said her God forbids wearing trousers and was always on camp wearing a Khaki skirt she sewed from home.

Nigerians can carry religion for head sha !

I currently work (part time) in Christ Academy Cbt centre, a Christian owned Cbt centre in Gwagwalada, Abuja...I set up the computers to ensure they're exam ready. The owner is a pastor

It’s the same reason why you will never be tried the same way a solider will be tried even if both of you commit the same offense in the barracks.

In Ilorin , Al-Hikmah Islamic University requires all girls there to wear Hijab. They won't even let you matriculate if you don't.

We don’t need the faith based institutions to do Jamb a favor. Jamb should do its job simple.

Jamb is the one collecting exams fees and they should be the one to set up exam centers that each students will be able to write their exam without discrimination.
