The memory of Shehu Kangiwa is brought alive by the Hausa griot, Sani Aliyu Dandawo.

He's one of the best governor to come out of the Old Sokoto state.

May rest the souls of Bola Ige and Lateef Jakande too, at least, they understand altruism to an extent unlike the thieves we have around now.

Make yourself happy. Push whatever is pushable, travel the world if you can afford it and if you can't, travel to amazing sites in Nigeria or go to Benin Republic and spend a holiday. Save towards it from January to December.

Each time I drive past adedibu, the alaafin molete's house, I shake my head. That place used to be a small mecca in ibadan in those days. MC Oluomo is still learning where adedibu was.
Whatever you do today will become a memory of you tomorrow. Nobody even remembers any of his many children anymore...life!

Enugu was not a state in 1979. Enugu was capital of Anambra state.
So Jim Nwobodo was governor of Anambra state.

My bros, I weep for this generation. Do you know that the World Bank assisted water scheme/project Mbakwe started in Aba before the military coup, was abandoned and forgotten? The pipes still carry clean water underground today in Aba metropolis..

Old Anambra state was created in in 1976 with capital at Enugu during Obasanjo's military regime.
In 1991, Enugu state was created from it with capital at Enugu. The remaining still bear Anambra with capital at Awka.

Hope it's settled

The moral of this news is that whenever you get opportunity help your people because one day you'll be no more and even your name would be forgotten and alot of people may not know that you even existed. The president set of the Nigerian leaders should take note of it

Enugu State was created out of the old Anamabra state if you want me to teach you some history lessons!
